She's the Kirk Ferentz of the announcing world. Probably over paid. Wins some loses some. Does a poor job in general. Because of her gender has a lifetime contract. her bosses would never fire her. My only question; can she talk and chew gum while taking notes?

LOL! Yeah, being forced to watch Iowa football three out of the last four weeks does sound like punishment, doesn't it? I can't believe I watch it voluntarily and if they play the way they have the past three weeks against Minnesota I will probably be doing something else on Saturdays the rest of the fall. Losing is one thing, I can handle that, but the pathetic and embarrassing way they are playing? No, not gonna waste every Saturday this fall on that crap.

Heard someone say once that Beth Mowins and Iowa football are a match made in heaven - both have had some success in their careers, but neither will ever make it to the big leagues. The truth sucks...

This begs the question...if Beth Mowins is announcing the game on TV and Doodle is at the game, does she make a sound?
- I must be totally focused on the actual game. I never really had a problem with her. Then again my wife ( no pic ) is constantly telling me I don't listen to jer either, so there is that...
She isn't as terrible as most make her out to be. I don't mind her that much. I do wonder if she gets as sick of calling our games and we do hearing her?

She's fine she is just boring as hell and Im already tired and sleepy at 9 am watching those early games. When she calls it i do turn the sound off and its actually a good watch with the sound off.
