Appreciate her more she basically carried a team that would’ve been in the ball park range as a 7-10 to back to back title games.

Thought they could bring in Olsen and keep things rolling get a respectable seed. Instead of back to status quo Iowa even with top portal player is worse off than pre Clark years. Im not sure they’ll even make the tourney after blowing another games yesterday.

Kate and Gabby weren’t exactly chopped liver and the #5 position was more than capably manned during Caitlin’s time in Iowa City…Honwstly, why would any if you folks think Iowa would just carry on the past 4 seasons of success considering the season’s depth of the losses Iowa had this past year due to graduation/retirements?
Sometimes am amazed at the stupidity of the Iowa basketball fan that posts here. Unless folks are just coming here to vent frustrations…Guys… wake up, smell the coffee! A step back? Yes. Losing 4 in a row with awful substitution patterns, questionable uses of fouls and timeouts and a team with record setting turnovers and missed free throws? No.

Jan is over her head and we should have hired an established head coach to keep the momentum going. She needs to go before the wheels fall off.

Warnock, Monica, CC, and Martin could all get a basket when needed. A hot Marshall was icing.

Present team has two players that can create shots when things break down….Guyton snd Lucy. One is learning.

It’s time to lean heavy into youth and try to scratch out a NCAA bid

I was shocked' Kind of' That they sold o0ut womens season tickets again with all the talent gone. Everyone just assumed they would just continue to go to sweet 16s on a regular basis. With all the Freshman and starters that really were just used to Caitlin running the show would continue was just to much especially with a new coach. Bluder knew what she was doing!

Unlike the men. The Big 10 has some of the best teams in the country. It's really deep. I like our freshmen ladies, and can't wait to watch them get better. I'd like to see what kind of players Jan brings in before she gets thrown under the bus. Going from assistant coach to head coach is probably a lot tougher than it looks. I wouldn't give her 15 years or anything. But, she should be given more than a few months.

Barta actually stepped to a podium mic and said that not only was Brian Ferentz qualified to run Iowa's offense, he was "uniquely" qualified. There's never been a bigger lapdog of an AD in history than Gary Barta. Beth stepped in and sent Brian packing in a matter of months. All these guys calling for Beth to be gone apparently would be happy with Brian still running Iowa's offense, lol.

I would have to agree with Barta that Brian was unique.

Ok then tell me what seed would Iowa been with exact same team minus Clark last 2 years?

Olsen replaced Martin both all conf talent. Who else does Iowa have to replace? Gabby? stats got worse 3 years running and benefited greatly from Clark getting open shots but avg 6 ppg shooting 35-37% from 3 last 2 years. McCabe putting up better in both. Goodman? She was behind 2 other post end of the year and got benched cause of poor play. Reiterates my point where Iowa would’ve been without Clark’s greatness.

And God forbid ones speaks truth and not just sunshine and roses but let’s call it what it is just like when men’s team or football has one. This season so far for women’s has been a big disappointment. Starting 3-4 srs & 1-2 jrs (depending on whom). Bench is but this team is not young. No reason they should not make the tourney and in jeopardy of doing so.
