They need to put a standard deviation on the got dam average so running up scores early in the season isn't how he obtains that goal
Does it stipulate that the 25 ppg average is what's expected to come from the OFFENSE and that he doesn't get to count scoring by the D and ST towards that average?
Yeah we really ran up the scores against S. Dakota State and Iowa State last year. More like defensive touchdowns should not count!
Last week he said 8 wins wasn't the goal. And didn't Bart to say that later on in the same press confprince? Now the goal is 7 wins.

Look at the 2023 schedule. If he can’t meet those parameters next season then it will be interesting to see KF and GB move the goal posts to defend their new or changed message. And these changes means one thing, no one in the NFL wants anything to do with BF.

So is that 25pts by the OFFENSE per game, or in total? Should have had his pay dropped to match is offensive ranking...
So basically every defensive score helps ensure Brian can keep shitting on said defense. Ridiculous. So ashamed of the "leadership" right now. 5-6 VS the p5 teams gets firstborn 112k

Well look for BF to try and run the score up against Utah St and W. Michigan. Wow Gary way to set the bar so high with 7 wins.... I wish Gary Barta worked for my employer when I negotiate my salary. Barta really is a walking PR nightmare.

Well at least our defense will not be quite as dominant as last year so BF will have a bit more pressure to actually score. Also, our D3 level schedule to start the season should help pad those numbers.

I have serious doubts about the offense averaging 25 points a game. It’s going to take the defense and special teams doing a lot to get there.
25 ppg would’ve put us right there with Arkansas State at #85 last year
Since Brian has performance goals, I’m assuming Phil has them too right. Because as Kirk said, he looks at them the same. 🤷♂️
Great point. Read with the defensive TDs last year offense really avg just 14pts a game. Instead of the 17 Kirk and barta were quoting last week.
i like the amendment. hope the contract is written to ensure at least 25 points in every game and not average. coz 50-60 points on utah state followed by 0-10 in ames won’t be fun

25 points per game overall. Maybe they figure defensive touchdowns take away from chances for offensive touchdowns by some percentage, so lump all points together.
I’ll be honest the schedule next year doesn’t have Michigan or Ohio State but there is no Nevada either. Utah State should be improved and Western Michigan had a top 40 defense.
