Greatest conference top to bottom in the history of college basketball, apparently and allegedly, can’t even get 1 team in the Final 4. Ouch.

I kid, I kid. Big 12 wasn’t the only power conference to come up short. They pretty much all did.

Such a strange tournament this year. Fun and refreshing to see new faces, but strange.

Biggest loser was probably the B1G followed by the SEC and then the Big 12. ACC was also not great but Miami looks like they could win it all. Big East looks very underrated. I can't believe how bad the B1G has looked these past 3 tournaments.

B1G was atrocious, yes, but no one expected much from the B1G this year. Definitely a down year. Big 12 had a lot of hype but couldn’t produce. I’d say the Big 12 was the biggest loser.

Big ten was on average seeded a couple spots higher (worse) than the teams they lost to. The big 12 was seeded a couple spots lower than the average of the teams they lost to.
I don’t think the big 12 beat a higher seed. For the greatest deepest conference ever this was worse then the big tens below average showing.

With the one and dones and the nature of CBB today, there are no dominant conferences. It's not like CF where a handful of teams dominate and players are required to stay 3 years before leaving for the NFL. There are only 5 players on the court at one time and a couple of really good players can propel a team to championships - not like CF where it takes 22 players and DEPTH

B1G is seemingly always atrocious. Hard to call out the B12 when none of us ever seem to live up to expectations. Anyone that expected more than a Sweet 16 appearance from Purdue this season were just hoping for a breakthrough. I always undersell the B12 because, well, they typically deserve it from the context of actual power conferences. With that said, we haven't been so good as a conference ourselves to dog them. No excuses for not getting one title with as good as our conference supposedly was the last 7 years or so.

As an Iowa fan and fan of B1G basketball I am not going to talk trash on any other conference. The B1G has been embarrassingly bad these past 3 tournaments and things don't look to be improving for the future.

I don't think anyone really believed Purdue was the best team in the land. They served as a placeholder for several weeks because everyone else kept losing.

Dude they did not belly flop, cmon. They still had two teams in the elite eight and KSU was a break or two away from the FF. A belly flop—from the high dive no less—would be like failing to get a team past the round of 32. Purdue belly flopped. I’d say the big 12 sort of did a swan dive but over rotated & hit the water on their backside. Splash not impressive but no one is going to the hospital for abdominal trauma either.

Just like how the Texas Ten was supposedly so much better than the Big Ten in Football. Then the Bowl games occurred and the Texas Ten went 2-7 and the Big Ten West went 3-2.

Won’t see any clown fans coming back to tell us how wrong they were either. Just how they roll, run their mouths and then when proven wrong the run away and hide.

I think it’s funny how we all want to bash the other conferences. As someone mentioned a bounce here or there can give you a loss.

Five years from now we will all find out which team has the most money. Then it will be total domination and borderline stupid by the NCAA leaders who came up with NIL.

This is the best measure for determining if a conference is overrated or not. Both the B1G & Little12 underperformed, but I didn't see any Hawk posters on CryClown Fanatic bragging about the B1G.

It mostly looks like the top teams from the major conferences underperformed across the board, instead of a particular conference being consistently overseeded. No true dominant teams this year.
