Anyone know what side Iowa will be on? Or what sections will be Iowa fans? Trying to buy tickets and I really don't want to sit with MSU fans.

I thought I heard that the Iowa section was the West side but will it really matter. Unless you are sitting directly in the middle of the MSU section you'll be surrounded by fans of both teams.

There is something to be said for sitting amongst opposing fans, at least if you end up winning. It was an epic celebration at the Cap One Bowl for the 15-20 Iowa fans I was nearby on the LSU side of the field.

I see you're point but I have done that before at the Wisconsin game and the Northwestern game this year (even though there were more Iowa fans at Northwestern). Also, went to the Duke vs Wisco game in Indy for college Bball and sat with all Wisco fans (I am a Duke basketball fan). But this time I want to sit with Iowa fans, I purchased my tickets in section 443 so should be among friends. Also remember if you purchase on Stubhub today use the code Cyber10 for 10% off, better than nothing.

West and south. Sections 124-145

So basically sections 124-145, 224-245, 324-345, 424-425, and so on. I assume this means the nose bleed sections as well. I think we are in Section 635 or 636 something like that, hoping there will be tons of hawk fans around us.

Iowa sections through the ticketing office are the following:

IOWA MAIN STAND SECTIONS: 125-137, 227-237, 326-337, 427-437

IOWA CLUB LEVEL SECTIONS: 138-139, 141-142, 238-239, 242

I'm in section 240 through TeamTix so I'm guessing sections 240-241 will be a mix of fans

I just don't get why the Stadium doesn't reserves the bottom bowls for both teams (each team gets same number of sections on levels 100, 200, 300, 400, 500. Then sell the rest of the tickets on August 1st. Whatever the Universities don't use or have left open, put back up on the market. This way at least your guaranteed a sell out. I can see now why this game has struggled to be a sell-out in years past. If Iowa wasn't playing in this game, I doubt it would even fill 75% full.

I just think its stupid to sell these tickets on August 1st. JFC we didn't even think we would be there this year. What fan buys these tickets on August 1st?

They said that we were on the West side so I booked in section 148 a month ago. Prices have really limbed since. I know a lot of Hawks are in this section.
