It is time for the 19th annual BTT and my annual analysis of the tourney. The following are facts I tracked since the initial tourney in March 1998. All of the information DOES NOT take into account of records that were vacated by schools after the tourney was completed.

#1 – Ind seeded #1 two times (2013 and 2016) and as high as #1 and as low as #11
#2 – MSU been seeded #2 four times (2000, 2001, 2005 and 2016) and as high as #1 and as low as #7
#3 – MD been seeded #3 one time (2016) and as high as #2 and as low as #3
#4 – Pur been seeded #4 two times (2003 and 2016) and as high as #2 and as low as #12
#5 – Iowa been seeded #5 four times (1998, 1999, 2015 and 2016) as high as #2 and low as #10
#6 – Wisc been seeded #6 two times (2000 and 2016) and as high as #1 and low as #10
#7 – OSU been seeded #7 one time (2016) and as high as #1 and low as #11
#8 – Mich been seeded #8 four times (2000, 2007, 2010 and 2016)and as high as #1 and low as #10
#9 – NW been seeded #9 four times (1998, 2006, 2009 and 2016) and as high as #6 and low as #11
#10 – PSU been seed #10 two times (2014 and 2016) and as high as #6 and low as #13
#11 – Neb been seeded #11 two times (2012 and 2016) and as high as #4 and low as #12
#12 – Ill been seeded #12 one time (2016) and as high as #1 and low as #12
#13 – Minn been seeded #13 one time (2016) and as high as #5 and low as #13
#14 – Rut been seeded #14 two times (2015 and 2016) and as high as #14 and low as #14

Illinois overall record is 26-16 with two BTT titles in six championship games
Indiana overall record is 11-18 with no BTT titles in one championship game
Iowa overall record is 15-16 with two BTT titles in three championship games
Maryland overall record is 1-1 with no BTT titles in no championship games
Michigan overall record is 16-17 with one BTT title in two championship games
