...2-0 so far. And those were the losing season squads. I hope Wiscy and Northwestern keep it going, but all we need to worry about is an Iowa win to ensure a winning post-season record for our "weaker" division.

Pitt has been really shaky and at times just plain bad since visiting Kinnick. Starting to think we may have been their Super Bowl with the Narduzzi/Big 10 angle?

Teams sometimes lose their mojo. It's happened to Iowa more than a few times. Had the tables turned and Pitt made the FG both seasons may have looked completely different.

Pitt gave up almost 600 yards to Navy today. I was hoping for Pitt to look better than that.

Pitt's not a great team. We were lucky to win. That's a lot of college football. Enjoy the good times because many years we would have gotten beat by a mediocre team like them and all this year's excitement would be non gone.

Pitt scored scored three touchdowns in our game. One on a blocked punt, and another with an interception return down to our 11 yard line. Their only scoring drive was their last possession and they converted one improbable 4th down. It should not have been as close as it was.

What Pitt did or didn't do after Iowa has just about as much relevance to Iowa as what Stanford didn't do @ Northwestern. Both cases were a LONG time ago. Alabama lost @ home to a mediocre outfit. Oklahoma lost to a team that got beat 24-0 by Iowa State, yet both Alabama and Oklahoma are playing for a national championship. How can that be?

not to rain on the parade, but didn't Indiana come up short?
As already noted they're not in the West, however, after watching the missed FG replay over sever times I'm not so sure they did come up short....just another bad call by the refs against a B1G team.

So far the BIG has performed very well in the bowl season. 2-1 start. The one loss came in overtime and perhaps was a bad call.

My bad--didn't see the "west" part. Haven't seen the FG replay, but it sounds like most lean toward the Hoosiers got hosed.

Indiana missed the FG. If any part of the ball is above the upright it is not good.
2 of the 3 angles it looked no good to me. The video from below was at a bad angle from the center of the goal post and made it look good but I think that was just the angle of the camera. Both shots from the front and behind the goal post it looked like it went over the outside edge of the top of the goal post to me. Indiana ran all over Duke for most of the game and then decided to start passing the ball it seemed. I think that is the primary reason why they lost the game.

The Big Ten could really change its reputation by having a second straight great bowl season. If Iowa could pull off a 3rd upset of a Pac-12 blue blood in California, Ohio St handles ND, and the remaining 4 could at least split with the SEC, even the biggest doubters would have to start giving credit where it's due. Heck, if MSU pulls off a National Championship, they could be calling the B1G the "SEC of the playoff era."

We don't want a comparison to the SEC, we want to start our own legacy. The playoff era could just be the B1G era.

Well done, Wisconsin, especially after yet ANOTHER giant officiating mistake that erased what would have been a long Badger touchdown. I guess the Big Ten simply cannot be stopped, not by the officials, not even by all the speedy athletes of the bluest of the blue bloods, USC and UCLA in their own backyards. Big Ten Awesome. Let's keep it rollin'.
