For as much crap as he was taking in the game thread (none from me by the way) PMac had a pretty nice game when it was all said and done…
And Iowa was down by NINE with about 4 minutes to go today, and a win looked highly improbable. But thanks to gutty defense by everybody and amazing shooting from Keegan and the much-maligned JBo, the Hawkeyes are moving on to the title game tomorrow. This team never quits. This team is talented. This team still doesn't get the recognition it deserves. But not even CBS can change the final score, as much as they'd love to. LOLWe were down early by 10 to Rutgers. No problem. We came back and won.
We were down early by 12 to Indiana. No problem. We came back and won.
Iowa makes a lot of threes. The final stats.
Iowa had 9 more made 3's. This helped offset the 18-9 second chance points advantage for IU.
IU had a 50-24 points in the paint advantage as well.
This team, man.

BTW: Screw Jim Nance and Grant Hill.
Both teams tomorrow will be tired. Gut check time.......great win but I did think they looked a bit tired today other thought?
He needs to get stronger with the dribble. He was killing me early with the loose handle, but there’s no doubt his drive game in the paint is strong. For as much crap as he was taking in the game thread (none from me by the way) PMac had a pretty nice game when it was all said and done…
I turned the volume down. Bill Raftery is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Especially when he tries his cute little zingers.Iowa makes a lot of threes.
This deserved its own mention. Was Iowa actually playing in that game?
I’m glad a few close calls broke our way too in the final minutes, especially that charge call against TJD
Would that be the first time in conference history?
As long as we don't poop our pants...........then there was plenty of time to collect ourselves and run something for the last shot.Just like the Cap 1 game with " the catch ". Failed to use our last TO, call a play yet got the play off and history is made...
Had a lot go against us too. Until the last three minutes the calls were brutal, better said the non-calls were brutal.we had a lot go our way today
it's been a while
I was waiting for a play to be run. Never expected JBO dribbling back and forth above the 3 pt line and heave in a bank shot.Never a doubt! 😃
Did it even seem like PMac scored 16? That was the quietest 16 pt game I think I've seen. Kid made some tough shots. The final stats.

Translation: Good God, I don't know what we're going to do if he's around next year!
No doubt we were a step slower to start the game.great win but I did think they looked a bit tired today other thought?
Heck yeah!!! We are in a golden era of Iowa athletics right now. The C$%%^ garbage tried to slow us down as we were entering this golden era. We have persevered and now this might be the best season in the Iowa athletics history. WOW!!! What a stat. These two teams could go deep into March yet too!!!
Clark Kellogg: "Indiana controlled the game for 36 minutes". Give me a friggin break!
