Iowa is obviously trending downward (if you are somewhat objective) under the expertise of the Ferentz brain(less) trust.
Trending up are Iowa State, Purdue, Wisconsin (might be elite now), Nebraska will soon dump their Ferentz, and Northwestern. That leaves Minnesota and Illinois very close to Iowa.
In one year Brohm has Purdue playing better than Iowa with leftovers from prior regime.
Of course, we had a lot of injuries according to the Ferentz fans and just did not execute. But, we will get one big upset a year and win 6+/- games to keep non-competitive fans happy.
So, Hawkeye fans are looking at fighting for 4/5/6 in the East division. We are very fortunate to have the “great coach” contracted at a mere $4+ Million a year for the foreseeable future.
Awesome!
