Pretty awful so far. If not for the cute chick I probably wouldn't bother watching the rest of the pilot. So it has about 15 more minutes to sink the hook in.

Anyone else watching?

I seem to recall the trailer for Quantico (up next) was more promising.

I watched Blood & Oil and thought it had some promise. Missed Quantico. How was that?

Saw the previews and figured if you saw Dallas many many years ago you did not really need to see the knockoff.

Besides Don Johnson is no Larry Hagman.

The ending of B&O injected some much-needed interest. But not enough to put up with the mostly cartoonish characters. I probably won't give it another try.

Quantico was quite good. I don't like that it's told in flashback fashion and that they have already killed off a major character - who will nevertheless appear in every future episode (if you believe IMDb), because of the flashback thing. But the plot is definitely good enough to get me to watch another episode or 2 to see if they can keep it up. Implausible escape scene, but I'm willing to overlook that.

Tonight we get to see the 2nd installments of Minority Report and Blindspot. Tomorrow it's Limitless.

So far, I think Quantico, Limitless and Blindspot have the most promise of the new shows. Both Limitless and Blindspot have the feel of recycled material, but if they do it well, that's OK.

I don't think there is a new TV show worth watching this fall.

quantico was fair, had to be made by the same people who made how to get away with murder, it was just exactly like that show, except the college was quantico, different location

I recorded it, not sure if I'll even watch the pilot based on this discussion. Is it worth 45 minutes?
I remember many years ago reading about a couple who were inspired by Rocky - how he went all in on his dream and struggled and worked to make it a reality. They were so moved that they sold their house and put all the money into lottery tickets.

If you enjoy a show that makes people like that the heroes, then I recommend B&O.
