I can cook adequately. I guess I've just had so many shitty roasts in my life that I never consider it as an option. It's also boring. Too much work for boring imo.
How about nice oven-roasted chicken? Now that's a Sunday dinner.
Sunday nights are for steaks here. T-bone, ribeye, porterhouse. Baked potato and green beans w/bacon or stuffed mushrooms on the side.
The name of the game on Sundays here is easy AF. If you don't like what I'm cooking, peanut butter is in the cupboard.

Butter, garlic, and onion on a hot pan makes a smell that makes everyone a little bit giddy.
What about the bacon?!!! Chop up the bacon so it cooks in the skillet w/ the garlic and butter, then you’ve got something.
Grilling is easy. Baked potato, no brainier. Some green beans on a skillet with bacon bits. Easy.
You start with the aromatics and go from there.
