Things changed quickly on this one. I think Iowa always thought they had a shot, but all the smoke signals out there was that Bo was focused elsewhere, and then that dramatically changed recently. Either way, I'm glad he (and everybody else I asked) was wrong!

Things changed on this. Even Bo's position, that he wasn't going to announce for awhile, shifted very suddenly. Whatever the cause, I'm glad for it. Everything I heard was that Bo was likely going to Okie State, with an outside shot at Ohio State; then Ohio State dropped off and there were rumblings about other schools, but never Iowa. Then, suddenly, that changed this weekend in terms of the chatter.
I'm sure the Iowa staff always thought they had a shot, but everybody, including Iowa insider types, thought it was a no-go. They were wrong.

I have no issue with anything you said if it was a conversation about Bo without anything to do with Willie. But, my entire point was how smug Willie was whenever Iowa was even mentioned around Bo. I don’t care what people THINK they know from the outside looking in. You don’t act like he did unless you are SURE you are actually on the inside….
