Based on what? Your dislike for Iowa state?I believe the SEC and ACC will play this fall. Not so sure about the B12.
No. The league doesn't seem committed to playing from what I can tell. It is true I am not a fan of ISU but the only time I root against them is when they are playing Iowa.Based on what? Your dislike for Iowa state?
The league seems very committed to playing. The protocols in place are incredible, and every team is ready to play. Bowlsby could not be more clear.No. The league doesn't seem committed to playing from what I can tell. I never understood how people think the B12 is some swing conference on this. We are talking 4 TX schools and 2 Oklahoma schools. The other 4 aren't exactly closed off to the idea of playing either.I believe the SEC and ACC will play this fall. Not so sure about the B12.
College bball would makes tons of TV money, especially if there's no fballHard to carry on most sports throughout the year if you don't have the revenue from football.
Your not getting any more TV money then the contract you signed allows.College bball would makes tons of TV money, especially if there's no fball
So change the contract...you think anyone would rather have no money from it?Your not getting any more TV money then the contract you signed allows.
If the other conferences play, he is in deep chit so of course he is lobbying for the to cancel. Of course the Big 12 and ACC remember when the B1G poached members from their conference and tried to destroy them, so they are not really anxious to help the B1G.it's been reported by Jeff Snook and others that at that meeting there were 4-5 presidents who were in favor of playing, at least 4 were opposed and the rest were undecided.
During the meeting, Warren steered all discussion away from the fall. Didn't listen to the majority of Big 10 AD's who felt the students were safer with their medical staffs and coaches vs. being on their own. Has been actively lobbying since the announcement for the cancellation of other conferences seasons instead of listening to medical guidance.
The man is a plague on the conference and should be removed immediately.

Contract is final and no butts in the seats is massive revenue loss. You need to re-think your claim.College bball would makes tons of TV money, especially if there's no fball
No contract is set in stone these daysContract is final and no butts in the seats is massive revenue loss. You need to re-think your claim.
Heard on the radio that obviously the likes of Rutgers, MSU, Maryland, and one other were always going to oppose playing. They were expected to be awful. So zero incentives.
Of course he wants them the cancel. Too much egg on his face if they play this fall.
Nothing comes close to football. Basketball isn’t filling up the bucket the athletic department needs. Not even remotely close.College bball would makes tons of TV money, especially if there's no fball

Never said it does come close. and I said you don't need football money to make it happen...Nothing comes close to football. Basketball isn’t filling up the bucket the athletic department needs. Not even remotely close.
Do they hate money as well?Heard on the radio that obviously the likes of Rutgers, MSU, Maryland, and one other were always going to oppose playing. They were expected to be awful. So zero incentives.

The BIG will never be the same. Financial Loss Crevice will be way too deep dig to out of. Warren and the Presidents knew exactly what they were doing. Warren is just another Georgit's been reported by Jeff Snook and others that at that meeting there were 4-5 presidents who were in favor of playing, at least 4 were opposed and the rest were undecided.

IF the other conferences start and don’t get to finish, they should not be allowed to play in the spring. They had their shot and blew it. The only exception will be if the bowls wait to play until after the spring season conferences have finished their seasons. Then and ONLY then can they play ONE bowl game.
If it was up to the Governors of those states all classes would be virtual and there would be no sports at all this year. In case no one noticed, all those schools are located in states that have Democrat Governors who fight against opening their states.you can add minnesota, wisconsin, northwestern, michigan & michigan st to your list of presidents who did not want fall football. the AD's and coaches at all those institutions wanted to move forward but not the presidents/chancellors...some of those presidents may have asked for input from their state governor...seems it is never good when it starts getting that far up the food chain if you are a player/parent/fan.
