Dude is a tool..all this game amounted to was an infomercial about all the great " work" he does.

Vitale is the color commentator for the broad cast, not the play by play. Color commentators are supposed to talk during TOs or halftime, or possibly make brief comments during play by play. It is irritating when they are rattling on during the playing of the game, especially when it is something about another team or a pet story of theirs.

I have no problem with the mentions of his fund raising organization throughout the game. I just thought he spoke more about teams/schools that were NOT playing in the game vs the 2 teams that were playing in the game. You can kinda tell once he runs thru all his notes about the players playing, he kinda runs out of things to chatter about so he just starts rambling. Hes still better than listening to Bill Walton.
Yeah Bill Walton is awful to listen to. It seems almost cruel to put him out there like a sideshow each night just for people to laugh at, not with. The broadcast team seems to encourage it which makes it even worse.
I watched on my computer and set the head set aside to pick it up if there was actually any explanation to come. Irritating.
