Thanks, missed that. Guess I hadn't looked before the end of the Hawk's season.
Bowen earned the starting point guard spot at the start of the season but had trouble being consistent in his shooting. Assists to turnover ratio was very good but man you got to have confidence in your scoring.
He became expendable when Krikke and Patrick couldn't rebound or play defense. Freeman was inserted into the lineup and Dix as the off guard, not his fault. It was an uphill battle from there to get minutes and when he did, his shooting was still not good.
Too bad he didn't have the fortitude to stick it out and work on his game during this off season and try to win back his starting spot.
He has game, just no desire to work on it.
