Just curious who the fans would like to see Iowa play… looks like a lot of the websites are saying Ole Miss… not so sure I like that matchup? Also seeing Missouri, Boston College (no thanks even a more boring team) not sure who else but would like to see them play someone like Clemson or someone they’ve never played before .

Without KJ, we are going to get torched no matter the opponent.
I guess the first question is (I don't know at all that there is an answer yet) is, In which bowl do we play?

It appears to me anyway that the Citrus almost HAS to take Illinois. After the Citrus, what is the pecking order (or picking order?)

If Tampa bowl picks next after Citrus, would they take Michigan over us? They can do that, you know.

If anybody has the picking/pecking order, would love to see it.

To be honest I am burned out playing in Florida… and yes they can take Michigan over Iowa

I think Tampa would take Michigan now after the Ohio state win. Hello Nashville??

TBH, the best thing would be for Iowa to fall to the Mayo Bowl (Tampa takes Michigan because they're Michigan, Nashville takes "not Iowa" because we were there recently). We'd have a chance against a decent quality ACC team (Syracuse, Duke, Louisville). Chances are we'd get annihilated by a ranked SEC team, even if they are depleted of some of their stars. I'm not typically one to shy away from competition, but I'm just trying to be real; that ugly beatdown in Orlando last year still stings.

Yup. It doesn't matter. Neither team will be the team that played in the regular season. Go to wherever the game is played, enjoy the vacation, but don't get too invested in the game itself because it is meaningless.
Honestly, every football game is pretty meaningless to all but those who are playing or managing it. For fans it's entertainment and a distraction from the real issues that people face, just like this board. Are you not entertained?

Bowl games should try to create novel matchups, so yes, I'd prefer Iowa play Clemson or Ole Miss. No to BC, Missouri, and others Iowa has met in bowls before.

Of course I was entertained (but much less so this season than in previous 20+ years but that's another story), but that's not what I was talking about and you know that.

Doesn't really matter and should be generally less pressure for bowl games with how things are set up. Both teams will be missing tons of key players regardless of who the matchup is. I would be fine with a Ole Miss or Mizzu game.

Anyone else going to watch iowa and the playoffs but nothing else?
I end up watching every game I possibly can, during bowl season. I guess it’s due to the realization there’s no more CFB for quite a while, and I’m not a basketball fan.

Mayo Bowl vs Duke!!!
Wife is a Duke alum. Nice matchup!!!

Hearing we're likely Reliaquest against Ole Miss or Missouri. It really depends if we have Sullivan back. If we have Sullivan, I think we can compete with Missouri. If we have Stratton, I think no matter who we play it's going to be Tennessee Pt 2.

sort of seems like Tampa bowl would prefer Michigan over us (more TV eyeballs) but I do not know. it also seems like the Music City would prefer somebody besides us because we were just there, so it may well fall to the Duke's Mayo. I just hope it is a team we can beat.

Hoping for Nashville. That’d be a great time and one I’d probably make the drive to

From the match ups being talked about on here, Duke and/or Mizzou seem like the only winnable games
