Is it better for Iowa,in terms of bowl destination, for Wisconsin to beat OSU or visa versa? The more NY6 teams from our league the higher Iowa moves up in the pecking order. Thoughts?
I understand we are also a shot for the Holiday Bowl..although sounds like a long shot. I can't imagine too many are wanting New York!

We are going to a mid tier bowl regardless. Wisconsin winning the league is not a good thing for Iowa in any way.

I'd rather tOSU wins. As Suterman said, it really wont matter for Iowa regarding bowls and Wisc winning isn't good for us. Also, it would be nice to see tOSU make a run in the playoff like they did in 2014. We could always say we embarrassed the national champion.

Since I hate tOSU, and BTN's Gerry DiNardo is constantly whining that the east is so much superior to the west, I am going for WIsconsin. a win by them is a win for the west. That would help give the BIG west some credibility as tOSU's only conference losses would have come at the hands of BIG west opponents.

I agree some what on your recruiting point, but I don't think this one game is going to sway a kid who is on the fence for Iowa or Wisconsin. I think Bucky is going to get those kids anyway as long as Bucky is beating Herky on the field. Most of the kids are already committed for this season, and next season Iowa can help there recruiting vs Bucky by beating them in Iowa City. Besides, I only dislike Bucky, I HATE BRUTUS. If the game could end in a tie, sign me up. LOL

Wisconsin winning should be further incentive for Iowa to build their FB Program to the same level. It's amazing how many Iowa fans hope other programs digress so the Hawks look better. Wisconsin has Set the Bar. Now it's time for KF and Staff take the program to Wisconsin's level. Unfortunately, the gap between the two programs seems to have grown over the past several years.

I think we all can agree it wouldn't look to good for two 12-0 regular season west teams to both lose in the CCG.
