Boy, CMac's air balls are hurting

Bit of revisionist history. Mayer ate Connor's lunch.

It seems kind of simplistic but the simple fact is Iowa wins when shooting well and loses when shooting poorly. Small team. Plus give Purdue defense some credit. Pretty good defensively and hard to get anything inside with Ming the Merciless guarding the rim.

Kingsbury is as good as Conner. You are correct if he had a different name he would never have been a starter at Iowa.
You really have no idea what you are talking about. Connor hasn't shot well the last few games, but he had 8 assists against Purdon't. Connor has been one of our top 3 players this year overall.

Yep, Iowa has no competent team defense to fall back on when shots aren't falling so they are a one path to victory team.

They get good shots against pretty much everyone so if they shoot a decent percentage they have a good chance to win, if not almost certainly going to lose.

Okay I gotta admit that I read the title as

Boy, CMac's balls are hurting

and my first response was " didn't Brad Davison graduate?"

Not even close. He not only hurts the team on the court, but he is the reason Fran didn't get an actual 5 in the portal due to that meaning Rebraka takes his minutes. Advanced stats are correct showing he's 9th on the team. First time in 6 years he wasn't the worst guy to get starter minutes so there's that I guess.

You don’t actually believe a guy using the spellings of: Conner, Peyton, and Edney do you? Does that scream accurate information to you?

Kris is leading the team in MPG overall and in B1G play:

Player - MPG - Conf Play
Murray - 34.6 - 36.7
Rebraca- 31.5 - 33.3
Connor - 29.0 - 33.5
Perkins - 28.3 - 30.5
Ulis - 23.5 - 22.9

While we’re pointing out Connor’s shortcomings, it should also be noted that he has a decent lead in assists on this team and his a/to ration is 3.3. He’s averaging 3.1 apg and 0.9 TOs a game.
He was leading in total minutes which is what I said. I didn't say minutes per game. His defense sucks. He averages a whopping 1 assist for about every 10 minutes played on the highest scoring team in the conference. He doesn't turn the ball over which is great but doesn't even come close to making up for everything else. And many of his assists are risk free perimeter passes. He hardly gets any assists when we don't hit our 3's because he isn't athletic enough to drive and dish. The stats don't lie. He's the 9th best player on the team. He's also why Fran didn't go get a 5 in the portal because Rebraka would take his minutes. Or maybe he would sit Rebraka like he did the Murrays.

live by the 3, die by the 3!

Learn how to properly spell the players names and then comeback. We’ll call it “homework”.

Funny how you only show up after losses. Miserable person.

And you’d still be wrong if you were talking about total minutes. Kris still leads the team in total minutes for B1G (even after missing a game) and Rebraca leads the team in all games. Take your lies elsewhere.

😂 at “Rebraka” You just don’t have a clue, do you?

How about an apology for you being wrong? Maybe you can do your homework and also see I didn't post after most losses either. Then you can apologize. I also don't need to post after wins despite Conner. I'm sure next game Peyton or Kris go off from 3 he will have a bunch of assists and some of you will think it's because of him.

I still wasn’t wrong even though you tried to move the goalposts. Kris leads the team in minutes played in Conference and he even missed a game.

I didn't move shit you're just too stupid to realize total minutes played 2 games ago is different now. My post was accurate on the day it was posted moran.

We’ll look forward to the next loss so we can read your insights on Conner, Peyton, and Rebraka. 😂 😂 😂

Congrats on spelling Kris right, Coach.

So you lied then, is what you’re saying. Got it.

Kris leads Connor in total Conf minutes by 16 minutes. In the two games since your post, Kris had outplayed Connor by 9 total minutes (6 for Minn and 3 for OSU). So when you posted this “two games ago” Kris would have still played the most minutes by seven minutes even though he’s missed a conference game. I know this logic and math is going to confuse you, so sit mom down (you probably spell her name Mam because you’re ignorant with names) and have her explain it to you. Now if we add in the N’western game and the two minute difference there, it still doesn’t add up in your favor.

It’s just ironic that your last post was after a loss too. You went quiet after a few wins. Weird, that’s not something a loser troll would do at all.

It might've been 3 games dumbass. I'm not counting and don't really care. I posted exactly what sports-reference.com had listed on that day. IF they are wrong take it up with them. They may not have been up to date. I don't think yesterdays game is posted yet. I expect your next post to be an apology for being wrong. ALso, Conner is still 9th in player efficiency for conference games. Really earning those 33.5 mpg.

When you learn the player’s names that you’re critiquing, I’d might consider an apology, but it would be for your stupidity. Not one person talks about total minutes when discussing minutes played. It’s referred to as minutes per game because players do miss games. Kris actually leads the team in both though, now and when you lied about it three games ago.

Here you were actually wrong on both accounts, which is rare, so I’m not sure why you’re expecting an apology. Of course I understand that you have the spelling of a 6th grader and the basketball IQ to match, so I can add two and two.

Any way, enjoy being a miserable troll and I expect to see your posts after the next loss.

It looks like he’s less squared up on his 3 than he was earlier in the year. More like before. He was never perfectly squared up but it appears to me he’s shifted back a bit recently.

Apology accepted. Thank you.

And I wasn't wrong on the day I posted. I'm not going back to see the date and add the minutes but I will take sports-reference over your nonsense. Thanks again for manning up and apologizing for being blatantly wrong.

You are as bad at lying as you are at spelling players names. Give it up, admit you were wrong or lying.

Three games ago when you posted this on Feb 10 after the Purdue loss:

Kris had played 440 total Conf minutes
Connor had played 435 total Conf minutes

You are a liar.

What part about the stats possibly not being up to date can't you understand? Maybe have your babysitter get on here and explain it to you. My numbers were accurate on the date I posted based on what sports-reference had listed. I can't make that any more clear to anyone with an iq over 40. Just apologize again and move on.

So you admit that you were wrong. Thank you, that’s all I needed.

Maybe next time you run off at the mouth, use up to date stats. You won’t look like such an idiot, but with the last name of Hoyt I guess that’s inevitable.

9th in player efficiency. Bottom half in effective FG%. Bad rebounder. Bad defense. I don't blame you for wanting to argue semantics when the facts and truth about your boy are abundantly clear. Thanks for playing princess.

Getting lazier in all phases, except passing the ball, as the season progresses will do that................

Connor has received a lot of minutes for a player who has averaged 4 pts and 3 assists per game over his 6-year career.

This season is all that matters but your point stands for a guy putting up 6.9/3.8/3.6 in almost 30 mins per game while playing inconsistent defense. 15-20 mins like last year would be a lot more appropriate. Despite all those minutes he's master of the triple single, need more VS good teams

Only 32% 3pt FG% in Conference play, down from 36% in non-Con, regressing back to his career #’s

Considering the offensive players around him those six years: Cook, Garza, Weiscamp, Bohannon, and both Murrays, assists should have been plentiful along with open shots.

And you’ve got to think it’s hurt our guard recruiting quite a bit as well. Sometimes shudder to think what we would have done in Luka’s last year with Joe W, Keegan starting, and a couple of big ten quality guards. That’s a final four type team.

This is the story of Iowa basketball.

I agree with your point. I also think his shot is flatter than it was in early games.

Shudder to think what would have happened if the lineup was
  1. Garza, Wieskamp, Keegan, Kris, Jobo
and not

2. Garza, Wieskamp, Connor, CJ, Jobo

It must have. After all, Fran signed a 4* point guard who is presently sitting behind the other 4* starting point guard. Clearly, killed recruiting at the guard position.
