Brad Davison flagrant foul last year

Found the clip of Brad Davison doing Brad Davison things last year against us. Can’t wait to see what he has planned for the next game against us in the BTT.

He swept Weezy's feet out from underneath him when Weezy was coming down from a jump shot earlier in that game.

I just don't understand it. I can maybe see some accidental incidents but Davison looks for opportunities to hurt opponents. He really should be kicked out of basketball before that happens.

He got suspended for a game last year. Looks like he learned exactly nothing from that.

The B1G is culpable in this as they allow this dirty play to go unpunished incident after incident after incident.

will it take a game ending injury? A concussion? a season ending injury?

by not suspending him they are condoning his play and for every other dirty player to trip, punch and hook

B10 suspended him last year for cheap shot against CMac

As I said elsewhere, all of these examples are why he shouldn't be given the benefit of the doubt. If he does something questionable, the worst case should ALWAYS be assumed. There is enough history to show intent.

Since I'm likely going to hell anyway, I would have no problem if at some point somebody actually decks the guy. Just take an absolutely clean shot at the guy's jaw. I mean in a pickup game setting, I would've easily pictured somebody throwing a nice hard elbow to the punk's face when he was on the ground with Keegan.
And please, Cheesedicks, don't be giving the world the "tough competitor" story. The guy is flat out filthy dirty and deserves some violence his way. As someone else pointed out, in the 'good old days' his ass would've already been kicked a few times.

Gard forgot all about this clip today.

He also forgot about Ford not blocking out, the brick Ford threw up and the ridiculous jump ball call. Oh and also the 2 free FTs Davison got after the hook and hold when there was absolutely no foul on Murray. But yes, this is on the officials. Never seen bigger crybabies in my life after a game

Agreed. That the officials huddled and reviewed the play and determined that Davison committed the hook and hold should have absolved Keegan from any foul unless he retaliated. He didn't and, in fact, his momentum took him away from Davison. Absolutely no contact initiated by Keegan.

If Iowa had a McCabe, Kingsbury, or Moe on this team, this guy would have been under the scorer's table already. And deservedly so.

Yes, and he might have also played close to that dirty player line. I'm sure he was an angel in Izzo's mind.

I think I remember Kingsbury doing a similar thing to a Michigan player...maybe Voskuil (sp), putting him under the scorer's table, without any of the officials seeing it. It was pay back for an earlier dirty play.

And, I'm pretty sure Bobby Knight directed one of his goons to throw a ball directly off of Kent Hill's face. Not sure if that one got retaliation, or not.

I think you are correct in all examples if my memory serves me.

That happened more than once. I think maybe Lohaus was the victim once as well.
