The publix I went to, in Miami, was a dump. This was in a tawny neighborhood. Maybe the better ones are secretly hidden somewhere. My HyVee is less than 3 years old and is a brand spankin vision of Americana.

All of the Publix stores in my area are nice. I'm sure there are some stores that aren't well maintained but that is not the norm.

I've had their Nashville Hot tenders. They were nothing special - doubt I will have them again.
