Breece Hall, Mosai Newsom, Nick Henrich & Chris Hickman

and in Georgia there is a Wadley Clone that is going to make some people happy just in time for 4th of July. So why worry about Brock and Hall since those ships seem to have sailed.

Ratbird:
They pressured Brock to commit and he declined, so his official was cancelled.

100% false.

Why is this poster who spreads false rumors not banned?
I must say I have seen and participated in some seriously dumb arguments on here but this is the first time I have ever seen a mod call someone out. Ratbird is some kind of special.

They said they would take first of the 2 that verballed, they valued both but could only take one. Brock dragged his feet and now have a 2/3 chance to not make a bowl game his entire career. What are the coaches supposed to do? I know they are up front because I’ve had several kids in the same situation- with recruiting so fast now a days you have to pull the trigger when you know. Nebraska has 400 offers Out for 2019 compared to Iowa’s 140......come on now, which off the 2 programs would you trust more if offered

So you don't think Minny or NW won't make bowls in Block's career?

this year the ships are limited and they are on a 1st to commit basis. when a coach like KF does not sign 25 players every year then cull them like some coaches do.
this class might have 16-17 depending on couple players. RB Akinrabi may not be able to play again and would be eligible for a medical hardship to get his degree, then their are those that get their degree and either leave as a GT or hang up the cleats,

Iowa was/is only taking 2 RB's this year and they have them, Brock just waited to long and is the odd man out, old saying [one bird in your hands is worth 2 in a bush].

Actually, it is not false and you know it. It is semantics.
What? No.

I've interviewed Jirehl Brock and talked to him specifically about this topic. Have you?

I wish that could be true, but Husker fans are a rare breed which domestic abuse goes way up in the state after a loss. I'll also say I feel for the many good fans in the state, despite them ignoring the shady ways for their trophies and the disturbing narcissistic cult following and brain washing media.
My ex father-in- law, a son of a preacher and a wonderful and quiet human being, shocked me one day when he said he didn't care if nebraska got shady( criminal, prop 48, whatever) to win again...in a round about way. I had no response that day, it just reassured me of the true difference between the typical Hawk/any other and Husker fan. Some literally take pride in being disturbingly different and thinking you're nuts you're not being a Husker lover too? It's more of a cult than a fan base IMHO.
More trash than usual and that's saying a lot.

Please, your trolling the wrong board Ratstuff. Its been KF's mode of operation from the beginning to not accept a commitment from players unless he has visited. We've lost a couple of recruits in the last few years over exactly this.

Breece Hall is not 'out' as poster states. Not saying he's 'in' either but their is a strong relationship between Hall and Iowa coaches, maybe a preferred walk-on.

He had visited IC 5 times. He just wasn't ready to pull the trigger and the staff wasn't going to wait on him anymore. Like I posted to Sanderson, it is just semantics.

And none of these was an OFFICIAL visit. If a kid gets five officials and won't take one of those at Iowa, the staff has to wonder just how serious he is. This has come up before with other recruits.

If the kid would have committed 2 weeks ago, the staff would have welcomed him whether he had taken an "official" or not. There was hesitation by the kid so the staff cut bait. Both sides held their ground and the kid is going elsewhere.

You sound like my wife. She's never wrong and always has to have the last word, no matter what. Go ahead...Get the last word in and point out that you're not wrong AGAIN.:D

It's a lot easier and more convenient to make presumptions about entire groups of people when it affirms your bias. When looking to pigenhole an entire group of people, one can generally find exactly what they're looking for to support their argument. It's sort of like statistics.

I've had experiences with some really a-holeish Hawkeye fans. Just blatant pricks. Sounds like some of the Husker fans a few of you describe. There are some $#!tty people who cheer for the Hawks, and there are some $#!tty people who cheer for the Huskers. Unless there is some trait or reason that would make it reasonable to broad-brush an entire fanbase of people, then you're either being lazy or you are promoting it because it fits your narrative.

My father is a huge Husker fan. He would NEVER say he was okay with Nebraska getting shady in order to win again. He's the reason I'm a Husker fan. Took me to my first games when I was 7, and there is no one I respect more in this world than him.
