Awful situation, absolutely one of the finest high school wrestlers I’ve seen. Certainly one of the finest in Illinois high school wrestling. The young man was a total ‘scoring machine’, always fun to watch, great kid, great family, respected by all. It would have been great to watch him go with the current 157 lbs’ers, this kid “really had it all”. Big loss for wrestling fans.
