Brody Teske

I've known Brody's father since junior high and we graduated the same year in high school... Brody's dad is a Hawk fan ... hopefully some of that has rubbed off on Brody! ... :D

I liked the recent article about Teske ... Sounds like a kid with a good head on his shoulders ... Would welcome seeing him in Black and Gold ...

His dad is similar to what you read and hear about Brody ... His father is humble ... pretty soft spoken ... hard worker ... and he doesn't b.s. ... So whatever school Brody chooses, he will honor his commitment and that school will have one solid, hard-working, and determined kid in its weight room.

I like hearing this about parents & child athletes. He will be fun to watch regardless of where he goes to school.

Not that it will matter, but I think the recruiting of BT will carry some psychological issues. Regardless of what weight he projects now, this is likely the first head to head with ISU and will give Clone fans a glimmer of hope if he chooses them.
That said, if he doesn't see himself at 133, the Hawkeyes aren't maybe his team, imo.

When was the last time ISU had a champ at 25/33? Psychology related to recruiting doesn't mean shit until that happens.

What I meant was battling for in- State talent with Iowa. ..from an ISU standpoint. I completely agree, it's a no brainer for light weights with coaching and room partners.

If he walks around at 130-135 in his Jr. year as the hawk central article says I would think he could add 10-15 more to be a 133 2.5 years from now. The family are hawk fans, he has a cousin on the Iowa baseball team. Iowa has ISU buried when it comes to historical success at the weight range and available workout talent. Either you pick Iowa, the school you grew up following with best history and talent to train with or you pick ISU and instead of rolling with a 3 time world champ every day you have to line up against him.
