I think this is about best case scenario for Sammy.
Dean #1 and Dudley #8 on other side.
He would have a matchup with #2 Abounader, which would be a tough match, but like Sammy's chances there. Maybe the tougher matchup would be the #7 vs #10 against Brown/Zillmer

Not sure what service you are basing this off of but there are 15 rankings services and not one of them means anything other than the coaches poll and it carries only 10% of the seeding weight. He will not be the 7th seed.

If you are basing it off of Flo, DON'T

That would be a near dream scenario. But unfortunately, as stated below, it is doubtful that is how the seeds play out.

right.. I'm just saying,, that's about the best case for Sammy

I think he has more of a chance of being the 2nd seed than 7th.
I'm fine with him being a 3, 6, 7, or even 10 seed! So long as he's opposite of Dean. He's looking really good right now, and I wouldn't have said this a month ago, but he has a real shot of making the finals opposite Dean.

24-3(loss to Taylor doesn't count), B1G Champ having avenged his Dudley loss. He is 1-1 with Zillmer(one of his other losses). The only thing that could hurt him is the slightly "bad loss" to Renda.

Still, he has a top 5 record and won the most difficult Conference Tournament. Considering Abounader and Stauffer are the only ones with a clearly better record, there is even a decent argument for Brooks to get the #2. Abounader placed below him at B1G's and Stauffer has a pretty low RPI.

Yep -- Sammy and his mullet are on fire these days. Peaking at just the right time. There's not a guy at 184 he can't beat, including Dean. That said, I really like his chances against anyone not named Dean and would also love to see him on the opposite side from Dean. If he is, I think he has a solid shot at Saturday night no matter where he's seeded. It's obviously a solid and pretty deep weight class, so nothing would be easy, but he'd have as good a chance as anyone in that case.

The Zilmer kid is a tough match up for anyone. Just look at him!

Dean is not a lock. He still isn't back to 100% yet.
