I saw it was going to be on last night and recorded it just because I wanted to see if it was as awkward as when Fran was on and inadvertently insulted Lon Kruger's kid. Mike Brey was housing a salad and they were trying to have a conversation. I like the idea and the open forum for discussion, but the set up was fairly awkward.

I havent had a chance to watch yet. Was it still the same set up?

actually, the one that aired yesterday was new. They do two with the same group of coaches.

Jud kind of steals the show in the first episode. Dr. Tom doesn't get to talk very much and when he does he talks about BC a lot more than you might expect from a BTN show. There are also several questions that only get answered by Jud and Gary or just Jud. Hopefully he gets to talk a bit more in the second episode.

Having said that, I was a big fan of the first one. It used active coaches which gave us insight into the game today. This new one using retired coaches seems to be more about guys talking about the old days. Having said that, some of their stories are pretty good.
