Bush and Lienhaet don't care spelling

USC is a proud program with a lot of rich history. I can kind of understand if they high brow programs like ours but I’m thrilled as we don’t go West and win very often nor against them.

Who cares about them? I did make that comment though. I hope Gus Johnson catches the Stuart Scott. “That’s a five star player there.” That was on a USC TD. How did those five star players do when they were not coached up?

Reggie and Matt, suck it! Disgusting post game. They were on the verge of crying and almost said that the USC coaches need to be fired. How do they keep their jobs?
Did anyone else enjoy seeing Leinart look like he ate a bag of donkey sheet enough to rewind...

or was that just me?

Serves them right for the most blatantly one-sided coverage I have seen in some time. Not one but two notable alums for one school? Those salty postgame comments were glorious!

That was way too far. I still like Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt but I did feel like they were willing USC to a comeback and the majority if the commentary was about their program.

Anyway... too far with your comment.

Agreed. I like, Gus. My bad.

maybe they just wanted an exciting game. Probably an easier job for them if there is drama in the game vs blowout

We did to USC that second half what they did in the second half 17 years ago. Feels so goood!
My boy said tonight at about 3:00, “who is USC and why does everyone hate them?” I said, “dude, in the 2002 season, they came alive and stuck it in us in the Orange Bowl, ruining one of the best seasons in history. I had to watch Huggy Bear’s kid go for 100 and 2 scores. You were 18 months from being born, but that sh!t is burned into my memory.”

I had the same conversation with my 16 year-old daughter!

I was stunned that they were stunned with Iowa blowing them out.

I had Iowa winning by 17 points. In a much lower scoring game, granted.

But still a 25 point loss shouldn’t have been a shocker. Maybe even expected by the analysis.

I thought Bush and Leinart were completely unprofessional. Someone needs to remind them they are no longer playing for USC. Also their homerism would have been ok had they been on a PAC12 or USC based program but they are on a national program. Show some class. It pained them to finally give Iowa credit. Again, completely unprofessional.

The fact that Fox 1 had not one but two guys with direct ties to one of the teams in the studio doing pre and post game is ridiculous. This would have been all right if they would have Kirk herbstreit it and play it down the middle. But Gary dolphin is more objective then these clowns were.

Fox sports did themselves no favor by this. If they want to be in a battle with ESPN.

The pregame was what really got to me. About 15 minutes about USC and maybe 2 minutes about Iowa. They even gave more time to the OSU-Clemson and LSU-Oklahoma matchups than they devoted to the Hawkeyes. Pathetic coverage!!!

I said in the other thread Reggie uses his platform to do all he can to get Helton fired. To the point of refusing to give an opposing team credit. I mean Iowa had at least a little to do with a 25 point shellacking. Iowa may not have 5 stars across the board, but have plenty of athletes who play in a solid system. I mean how many players does Iowa put in the NFL? A ton. Just amazing how people that are “analysts” can make so many stupid comments. I didn’t see any of the show live but saw clips this morning and really wish Urban was there to tell that whiny douche he is clueless.

Maybe they should go back to school and be forced to memorize this.
Last night was bad for the two idiots and Fox Sports. The game was great, but the pregame and postgame were just horrible. It was the worst kind of "homeorism" (I think I made up that word). Quin almost looked like a deer in the headlights, "Um, how do I follow up with that?"
Didn't Reggie get his Heisman trophy taken away? He played on one of the most corrupt teams in the history of college football. Who says, "Crime doesn't pay?"

If I had to guess Reggie is not back next year with Fox.He embarrassed himself and Fox last night We,We,We.I have never heard a studio analyst let his emotions take control like his did. Fox seemed completely biased towards Iowa. That's typical. The gameday goons leaned USC too.

Bush never had the NFL career he had hoped for so it’s not surprising he is all caught up in USC and his perceived glory years. I thought Leinert wasn’t nearly as bad and at least made an effort to remain objective although he wasn’t doing a good job of it.

Those two cheaters have no business anywhere near college sports in any capacity. Really enjoyed the "Holiday Bowl Preview" that featured USC, LSU, Ohio State, Clemson, and OU. They did get a few seconds of Iowa in there toward the end. Nice cameo.

Interesting that two ex-USC players would both pick USC in their professional, unbiased analysis.

Fox's bias and its onslaught of commercials are not a great fit for the Big Ten, and that was dramatically apparent last night.
