Me learning of Cade testing the portal market...Obligatory...
I wonder what the youngest age is amongst those who get this?Cade leaving IC like:
This was Petras’s 7th year in college too. Crazy!
utah state, abilene christianWhere does one go when he is the 4th team backup QB on the worst passing offense in FBS?
I thought the same thing...Harbaugh knew it all along too.Nobody amongst Iowa fans listened to me when he came here.
KF still thinks all Iowa needs is a game manager........... behind our OL.The person I questioned was KF for signing CM.
Seems he found that in Stratton.KF still thinks all Iowa needs is a game manager........... behind our OL.
I can't say I blame him. If he can make $200K+ for another year of part-time work, why not? The alternative is an entry level job making $60K at best for Cade.I guess he wants one more college NIL pay day; I doubt a Power 2 or Other 2 conference will be stupid enough to do it
C’mon, man. Dude has one last season to play football and then that’s it....on to real life. What’s wrong with taking that opportunity? Every single person on this board would do the same thing if in an identical position. An act of desperation. Kind of sad and embarrassing for Cade.
"Every single person"? Hmmmm... pretty dramatic statement... of which you have no clue if true. But good luck to him though... if he lands someplace. I still think it's sad he's trying to hang on. North Dakota School of Mines perhaps?C’mon, man. Dude has one last season to play football and then that’s it....on to real life. What’s wrong with taking that opportunity? I can’t even think a North Dakota School of Mines would want him."Every single person"? Hmmmm... pretty dramatic statement... of which you have no clue if true. But good luck to him though... if he lands someplace. I still think it's sad he's trying to hang on. North Dakota School of Mines perhaps?

Cade is slowing turning into....
I was on board with bringing McNamara to Iowa. Yes, he was injured but it seemed like a reasonable gamble that he could be considerably better than anyone we had on the roster. The person I questioned was KF for signing CM.
JHC … time to hang er up Cade … great human being and a standout good person but no way are you ever getting to the big league
Cade would never step into a throw. He was always throwing off that back leg with no velocity and little accuracy.I was on board with bringing McNamara to Iowa. Yes, he was injured but it seemed like a reasonable gamble that he could be considerably better than anyone we had on the roster.
But right away it was apparent he was damaged goods. His on-field performance was poor - at best. He was drifting backwards and throwing off his back foot with no velocity and limited mobilty.
I dont know if the flaw was KF stubbornness to admit he was wrong or his inability to evaluate, but Kirk kept doubling down and trotting him out there, to the detriment of the team present and future.

At least Petras, for as bad as he performed (and not all his fault), was a class act. McNamara sure isn’t.I remember the excitement I had when they got him and it's been all downhill since then. Now he walks away as quietly as Petras did.
Im pretty confident he had a high tibial osteotomy and meniscus graftI was on board with bringing McNamara to Iowa. Yes, he was injured but it seemed like a reasonable gamble that he could be considerably better than anyone we had on the roster.

I bad mouthed Cade as much as anyone; not because of his skills but because our coaches were unrealistic in sticking with him as a starter. His future, I hope nothing but good tidings. He did nothing wrong.I guess he wants one more college NIL pay day; I doubt a Power 2 or Other 2 conference will be stupid enough to do it
