When was the last time that Iowa;s QB was better than ISU's?
Campbell can find passers, KF apparently doesn’t want to have a passing QB.
KF CANNOT coach quarterbacks. Almost every single QB at Iowa got worse the more they were coached.
He doesn’t, but the guys he hires can’t recruit or coach
Our offense has had long term Covid since the '19 Holiday Bowl.
Cade is playing like someone who lost his starting job, then transferred to highest bidder, them took another year off because of injury. This is what he is now.
ISU has had some good qb’s. Might be time to offer who they offer because our staff can’t figure it out themselves.

Give Lainez a chance. If he settles down with the pass alittle he could finally be the QB we’ve been waiting for. His scrambling and running was amazing in the bowel game. We haven’t had a QB this athletic since Banks

Most suprising thing is that it took a game or two for Cade to get beat out of his old job at Michigan by JJ Mcarthy. I don't see anything that Cade does well..not much of a passer, smallish in pocket, so-so arm,, not a great scrambler, not much of a running threat. I'm not sure this NW retread is any good either and Lainez apparently can't pass. Was Labas the one that got away? WE had to watch Deacon last year, and Petras before that. QB play has been bad since Stanley left.
Sullivan is a proven entity. Not one snap. We've seen this stupid year after year.
People are crazy thinking a change might be made. We rolled with Utah Techs Deacon Hill last year.
I was surprised most Iowa fans thought he and the offense was fixed after the 2nd half last week? He was the reason we stayed in the game, horrible passing QB. Not much upgrade from the fat guy last year?

The defense was not good in the second half.
Like I said last week, we’re going to lose 2 games we shouldn’t before they change qbs. End up 8-4 and pissed off.
Many said this about Hill - just saying. FTR I think Sullivan would have decent odds of being more effective than McNamara.
I don’t think anyone will be “good” until Kirk is gone. Best we’ll see is a game or two a year where we think we’ve turned a corner only to see this as the means

Does anyone really think that Kirk will change QBs after anointing McNamara the chosen child? How often has he admitted that he's made a mistake?
If our AD has a pair (metaphorically), she will have a problem with KF saying that.
It sums up KF's incompetent handling of quarterbacks, which has gone on waayyy too long.
I can only hope that KF is a liar in that he says one thing in public, then goes and does the other thing in private. Given McNamara's injury record maybe his hand will be forced anyway...
