Cadet Freestyle Day 2

Isu could definitely use steveson but they've got a lot of guys these last 2 recruiting cycles between 125-133 they should be going after need weights now. Bank on RBY in the B1G btw just maybe not where most would expect

RBY is tight with Minnesota...has been for awhile but with everything going on, who knows

Feel sad saying this but I believe Steveson will join his buddy Mark Hall at u know where.

No asu? It'll be interesting to see where Rby goes weight wise this year. He looked awfully big this weekend. He may end up as a 33. Nebraska has quite a few lightweights in the burner but no way anyone could turn down rby.

If RBY and Steveson are looking at Ohio State, I have to think Ohio State is also looking at David Carr.

I hope Iowa State lands 1 or 2 of RBY, Steveson, Carr and Wittlake. Not sure which weight is needed most and not sure coaches know either yet.
Also Teske and Real Wood would be on their radar, I think.

How Vega manages 125 next year. Assuming Simmons will be 133. RBY could be a need.
How Coleman and Mantanona shake out at 174/184. Wittlake could be a need.
Gremmel at Hwt, but how do you not go after Steveson.
165 - Verkleeren, Baptista, Allar seems to be 157/165 pounders, but I really like David Carr. Assume he is at 165
i dont see Verkleeren at 165. Hes very short.

I was wondering about how Verkleeren, Allar and Storr will shake out in weight. I assume Allar will be 157/165, Verkleeren 149/157 and same for Storr

Thompson was before KJ & D1 eligibility was used up by the time he went to Grandview, I think

Yeah, but not like many are KJ's guys like I think Mitch is referring to. And not sure on Blackford, but I don't think he was at Iowa State

Buf I think it's fair to say that Jackson hadn't done a great job getting his recruits to realize their potential. Other schools have had similar problems, but ISU has been a bit more glaring in that regard.

And yet others, such as Lelund, who was not ranked by anybody is an AA.
Gadson was ranked 65th and Moreno was ranked 60th in their senior class.

And yet some didn't have the ability to wrestle D1 and Cozart was one.

But I don't need to argue with you guys about it. Opinions won't change and that is fine

In comparison, Nick Moore was #11, Josh Dziewa was #12, Jake Ballweg was #31 in that class

That would be one of the most lopsided arguments of all time. Good thinking on your part.

Colbray is their future at heavyweight IMO.

Gable and RBY land in MN when it is all said and done. If Eggum doesn't get the job, they decommitt.

g6 do you know this or just wishful thinking.actually pulling for you on this one.

It's been a mixed bag for ISU as Buf points out. Some top recruits have not worked, some guys that weren't top recruits have over exceeded. I don't think it's fair to label KJ as either a guy who can't develop or a guy who can.

Regardless, if this current crop doesn't pan out and result in top 5 finishes he needs to go. The recruits have bought him 3 more years IMO.
