Women will get a new TV deal soon and will be treated much closer to the men soon and Clark is a big reason for it!

Nice. However, that is only because of all the upsets on the men's side. On March 16th the lowest price ticket for the Men's games that day were over $600.00 with the most expensive being $1,660.00 Those two games will bring in more money than the women's elite 8, final four, and championship games combined.

That's pretty optimistic, but it will certainly be a better deal than they had. Hopefully they don't do what the men did and sell the rights to a company that can't actually broadcast the tournament to large segments of the population. Turner Networks suck for premier events.

You're telling me nosebleed tickets for a stadium that seats 70,000 people are cheaper than an arena that holds 20,000?
The men’s tournament has the best setup of any sport out there for access to their broadcast. They have a separate app just for it and don’t need a cable deal to watch any of the games. All free, all available via the app. Wish more sports had this setup.
The app is free? I was able to watch one game for free but there was a timer on it. I assumed you had to pay for it after that.
Yea, after I posted that I might be wrong. I've been having weird issues with dish network and logging into apps lately and assumed it wasn't logging into that app because the sign in button kept popping up. It let me watch however long I wanted to though.
Still love that app and the way it is setup. I'm having all kinds of issues with the ESPN app, and haven't been able to watch a lot of on demand and live programs with it lately.

I live in Houston and have gone to the last 2 final 4's here. But this one I will pass. Not that interested in watching these teams. Secondary market has plummeted. If Texas and/or Houston were here it would be different
So we bitch about the Final 4 when it’s blue bloods and then we bitch about a team we should all like in FAU? And honestly by all metrics they’re legit. They’ve won 34-35 games now. Of course being Iowa fans most of you are already complaining about the refs in our game against SC starting on Tuesday.
It is an interesting paradox. We as fans love to see the Cinderellas knock off a couple blue bloods early, but we want our favorites (and favorites to hate) in the finals.

Honestly, if it weren't for the women's team doing so well and Caitlin Clark I would probably be far more interested in the men's final four. But, following the women's team is far more interesting.

On the women’s side, you have the undefeated defending national champions and last years Naismith winner playing against one of the most popular women’s basketball players ever and this years Naismith winner.
That doesn’t happen in the men’s game. Both of these players would have moved on to either the pros or transferred to a different school where they could make more money.
I honestly don’t think ncaa men’s basketball will ever be back to what it once was again in its lifetime.

If they keep season ticket prices 1/3 of the men I bet they do pretty well. It's time to raise prices substantially and see how dedicated these women's fans are so WBB doesn't have to be such freeloaders. Iowans love a great value about as much as anything....see wrestling season ticket prices
Obviously this has nothing to do with Clark. As pointed out by Georgia and Louisville fans, THEIR teams were the reason for the record setting number of viewers in those games.
