I mean in addition to her 10 assists which lead the nation she had 46 points tonight against #6 Michigan in Ann Arbor. What’s that the 46 is more than the cryclown men scored yesterday?

As CyTwit would say YIKES.

Tell us again she is a ball hog clown fans. Just keep ignoring that she lead the country in Assist.

Clown fans are gonna clown.

Maybe she should spend time teaching Iowa men's team how to shoot since going into yesterday they were dead last in the BIG for 3-pt shooting %.

She leads the country in scoring AND assists. If she wanted, she could average 40-50 points per game, she is every bit that good.

I’d start offering help to JBO. He barely draws iron when he shoots threes while on the move.

JBO has struggled this year. Not sure he ever really made it back to 100% from the multiple hip surgeries.

Not sure any Fran coaches team found a way to only score 41 points in a game like isu. Funny thing is that after mocking Iowa’s offense I. Football for months their basketball team has found a way to be worse.

That ISU team handled Iowa by 20 and held them to 53 while Rutgers held them to 46. While not 41, it’s close and lost head to head.

Why do you start so many threads about ISU, Jeff?

This times a million. Just look at jbo, connor and perkins 3 pt%. Especially in conference play.

give the women the same size ball as men then c how well they shoot? comparing women shooting and men's all things aren't equal. if the mens hoop and basketball wereof comparable size as women hoop and basketball men would shoot regularly over 50%

Not to be that guy, but I will. For the season, she is at a whopping 30% from 3-point range. Iowa men's team is shooting 33.8% on 3's for the year. So who exactly should be teaching who how to shoot?

Don't get me wrong, she's an incredible talent and her performance against Michigan was remarkable. Single-handedly made a game competitive that Iowa was getting blown out in, against a really good team. But there's a reason the team is 15-6 and not 19-2. A 1-13 performance from 3 in a loss to Duke. 4-12 from 3 and 8 turnovers in a loss at Iowa State. 1-7 from 3 in a home loss to IUPUI. 1-8 from 3 in a loss to Northwestern.

It appears the season-long shooting funk may be leaving, as she's put up great performances in the losses to Ohio State and Michigan. If so, that is a great harbinger for the rest of the season. Bohannon has been torched here by Iowa fans for his shooting slump, and he's making 34.6 percent from 3-point line. Just perspective.

JBo gets torched on here because he's shooting 28.6% from the field (25.8% from 3) in BIG games (while averaging the second most minutes) + doesn't rebound or defend well enough to justify the minutes he gets. Outside of the Virginia game, he's pretty much been a non-factor in games against team's with a pulse (while certainly not being a primary focus from other teams D)...so his shooting % against Iowa's cupcake non-conference schedule is 35.4 (34.6% from 3)...when it's mattered, he hasn't been able to figure it out (and yes, some of that is the physical toll from getting older and past injuries). JBo had his time and is a great Hawkeye, but not even close to being in this discussion this season.

Clark IS the top player on the women's team and the primary focus of the other teams' D. She certainly had some shooting issues early in the season, but has been better recently. You are correct, 30.2% from 3 for the season (but she's also shooting 45.7% overall from the field) --- in BIG games, she's shooting 47.2% overall (34.0% from 3) AND she's also averaging 8.1 REB and almost 10 ASTS in BIG game.

And to get away from this being a JBo vs. Clark thing --- there's only 1 player on the men's team shooting higher than 47.2% from the field AND 34.0% from 3 in BIG games (Keegan Murray). Of the men's contributors, only Rebraca (58.2%) is over 47.2% from the field during BIG and only PMac (37.5%) and Ulis (60% --- 3 for 5) are higher than 34.0% from 3 in BIG games.

Clark was in a slump early on but that ended with the home game vs Nebraska. She has found her range again. She averaged 42% from three last year. If she keeps shooting at the pace she's at she'll likely get back there or top her percentage from last year.

I would agree. I am inclined to believe that her worst shooting of the year is behind her. I don't now if she will get to the 40+% for the whole year. She takes so many 3's that it's hard to move the needle quickly from 30 to over 40.
