One team left from the BIG... UM... out of all the high powered teams ... what a stinker today this one kills inside ... I definitely feel for Garza he gave his heart and soul to the U of Iowa.... Thank you Luka best wishes to you and will never be forgotten.

PAC 12 is the best conference in the country. Then it’s the Big 10, then the Big 12, then the ACC, then the SEC.
B1G has shown out the worst- they have two #2 seeds going down in the round of 32. I have the PAC 12 #1 and then everyone else. The SEC has two, ACC 2, Big East 2, AAC 1, MVC 1, B1G 1, Big 12 1, WCC 1, and the Horizon League 1.

USC is taking KU apart. It seems the PAC 12 was severely underrated.
Honestly, this is what the Pac 12s run reminds me of........

I watched several of their games, non-conference and in-conference, and at no point did I watch the games and the play in the games and think.......man, this is the best conference in America. Iowa would get destroyed if they played in this conference.

Did I think that teams like USC, Colorado, and Oregon were better than what we've seen in the past and were gonna buck the stereotype of "Pac 12 is bad"? Absolutely.

But there was so much sloppy play and hero ball and just run run run out of control no matter the outcome, and I just didn't see that translating to the Pac 12 running the NCAA Tournament..........especially when Oregon State ran through their conference tournament.

That's why I say this is more like the Will Ferrell debate scene in Old School, as opposed to the NCAA Tournament just being the golden opportunity for the Pac 12 to awaken a sleeping giant.............

Iowa and Illinois walked into absolute trap games. Wisc got Baylor thats a tough roll. Not sure what to make of the OSU game. I was never that high on Purdue or Maryland. Rutgers, who I thought would beat Houston just ended up beating themselves.

Not sure why you would call Oregon a trap game. Anybody listening knew what we were up against.

Joe Lunardi of ESPN said Iowa would lose to Oregon because it was a bad match up. Everybody laughed at the notion. Just look at that thread; it's quite comical.

Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports eats and sleeps college basketball. He's a huge Fran McCaffery fan, btw and has had Fran on his podcasts several times.

When Jon spoke after the bracket was revealed, we should have listened.

He wrote this before the tournament started:

Oregon will be waiting for Iowa

I’ve said it for weeks: Oregon will be the most underseeded team in the NCAA Tournament. That’s not good for VCU, who will be the Rams’ first-round opponent. It’s also not good for Iowa, who could potentially play Dana Altman’s team in the second round. Oregon has the speed, athleticism, and style to give Iowa fits up and down the court. This could be one of the best games during the first week of the tournament if it happens.

The West Region feels like the Gonzaga Invitational

That is not hyperbole. The Bulldogs are 26-0 and have already beaten the other top seeds in their region — Iowa, Kansas, and Virginia — convincingly this season. Kansas and Virginia are the two teams in the NCAA Tournament that had issues this past week with COVID-19. It’s hard to see Gonzaga losing before the Final Four.

And today he reminded us of what he has been saying for a while about Oregon:

F*** Chris Duarte.

Pac 12 definitely caught fire. Add three more of their teams to the ncaa and what would the conference record look like? This is a weird year for upsets. Broke the record for the highest seed total in the sweet 16. Lots of upsets and close games where the higher seed survived. Even rutgers pushing 2 seed houston to the edge and beating themselves is weird by seed line.

We played well against oregon but our threes weren't falling....know that causes that? Tired legs. 2 games in three days can do that especially when the other team is rested. If we played them again they have the talent to beat us but it would have been interesting to see them where we each had the same amount of rest
