you can’t always get what you want!
You think any of the messages of the eulogies being given for the former President are registering with the current President-elect?
None are saints… but Carter and Trump are the extremes for those sitting in “the front row” today.
I wonder what Trump and Obama were conversing about so intently before the service began?

Jimmy Carter's funeral, and the eulogies given by so many people, will never be heard at a Donald Trump funeral. They are about grace and morals and values and character. Biden specifically stressing those qualities. Trump sat there like a slump dump unable to even open his eyes or raise his head, as those qualities will never be discussed when discussing him. The juxtaposition of all the qualities of Carter with Trump sitting there is hard to ignore and obviously so easy for everyone attending the funeral and watching on TV to see. So sad on all accounts.

The president-elect has a hard time not making everything about him. Even a state funeral

If only he really knew how many of us want it to be all about him.

Biden gave a speech more than a eulogy.
Sounds like that eulogy must have hit too close to home for some of the cult members. It was spot on. You could just see Bonespurs squirming in his seat as he listened to all the wonderful things about Carter that he knew in his heart were nowhere close to him and would never be spoken about him. well, I hope it was that and that he didn't shit his pants again today.

Guess you didn't watch the funeral. Biden specifically addressed those qualities in what he thought a president should be and Jimmy Carter was. Probably the first 2 minutes of his eulogy. If you miss that you need to go back to school and work on comprehension of big words.
