Wow. Don't watch MSNBC, but thought he was a pretty stalwart member of The Resistance. I don't follow leftist politics much, but he seemed to be a significant leader. Interesting.

I guess there are only so many times you can call a presidential candidate a nazi. Maybe he can find his tingle on the college lecture circuit.

I could have liked him, but never really did. The guy just couldn't stop talking. I don't know why any guest would appear on his show.

Steve Cornackie was fighting back tears talking about him closing out Hardball tonight. He said he was great with the regular people on the streets or at campaign trips.

I guess it’s only fair to compare this to the time Adolf Hitler committed suicide in the Nazi bunkers, and MSNBC, as the Third Reich, must go on without it’s greatest contributor. Farewell, Chris!

He spoke at a convention I was at about 15 years ago. Totally arrogant ass and got nothing out of his speech except he is great, complete waste of time and organizers were totally embarrassed he was so bad

I came home from the gym and turned on the TV and honest to God I thought Matthews was dead from how Kornacki was talking.

I've said it before, he should have hung it up a few years ago. He had a long, successful career.
The harassment stuff has come up once or twice, and hasn't gone anywhere. My beef was he just didn't shut up. And, he did that with male and female guests. He talked over people, and muddied up the subject matter.
It will be funny to read some of the comments from people ripping on Matthews for silly comments, or bad behavior towards women, who dial into Hannity every night, or will pull the lever for Trump again in November.

He had some good moments and interviews, but by and large I found his show to be a great example of how cable news is tearing this country apart. He rarely added much substance to a debate, just more yelling. Similar to several shows on Fox News.

He sexually harassed a lot of women, apparently.

For inappropriate comments?

WTF.

Never seen that before either. Announced his retiring and then gone. Show out...
Personally this is a tragedy. His performance Nov 2016 was pure gold fantastic. The Jesus comment was perfect. I was hoping to watch something similar this Nov.

He was reprimanded for harassment in 1999 and apologized. He's been doing it quite blatantly his entire TV career. His latest harassment and nazi thing will most likely lead to a lawsuit. I'm a liberal but Matthews is Massachusetts garbage. Former aide to Jimmy Carter and Tip O'Neill.

He's from Philly.

I liked him back in the day, before TV people seemingly had to pick one side or the other

Who’s replacing him? I bet MSNBC could get Randi Rhodes pretty cheap.
