If true then maybe CJ can see the talent of his team and a possible B1G Championship as he readies the HAWKEYES for a National title on the way to being the HAWKS best QB ever.

I like that he did it, but don't like he felt that it was a necessity. It's too early for guys not be going all out.
Didnt M&M say they had insiders claim that Kirk was gonna call it quits after the bowl game against Tennessee?
probably... also, I believe they were the first to report CJ Beathard had broken his ankle a few weeks before the season started...however.... that actually came from Marc Morehouse under the guise of "Speculation" while he was a guest on the Marty and Miller show.
Morehouse is a little loose with his words sometimes..... and I think Marty and Miller love people like Morehouse... might be where this "Speculation" of CJ calling out his teammates, came from.
CJ needs to look in the mirror. He had a bad game in the 2nd half. Also had a costly turnover early. Has to "feel" the pressure, he took too many sacks and over threw some open receivers. He needs to go for someone other than vandenberg.
Hard to have a good game, when a defender is in the backfield within two seconds.
A lot of that is on the coaches. Coaches need to put our players in best position to succeed and that clearly wasn't the case today. CJB ought to call out coaches as well. We got our a$$es kicked up and down the field today.....
I hope a lot of people get called out.
A top 15 team losing to a FCS team in unacceptable. I hope this coaching staff is embarrassed. I Hope these players are embarrassed. And i hope we learn from this

Thought his press conference was interesting when asked about setting the protection he said something to the effect of, "we should have picked that blitz up, but idk what happened."

This team clearly spent the last 7 days thinking their shit doesn't stink. At least they now know it REAKS!

Is he supposed to block and catch the passes as well? CJ played good enough for us to win comfortably if we catch the ball, block, and utilize wadley. Where was Mitchell out of the backfield?
It is but we're not top 15. Maybe not top 25. Not the way we've given up over 100 yards rushing all 3 games so far.
Plus he overthrew a receiver in the 1st half that might've gone for 6 if someone didn't call a holding call.
This is not a top 15 team let alone a top 20 team. Their two wins this year were to very inferior opponents and when they played a really good team their weaknesses were exposed. Going back to last year the O-line can't pass block and today could not run block. CJ will be lucky to make it the whole year! He has already been hit a number of times and it is only week three and we have not hit the Big Ten season.
