125 has a lot of good wrestlers. Will be fun to see how Forrest & Blaze stack up.

Jax was up 4-1 in the third, Blaze had 58 secs of time and chose neutral. Was able to catch Jax rolling around and get 4 back points. Ride him out and win 9-4.
Blaze just took out Ramos 4-1 in SV. Had a crazy scramble prior to that off a Ramos leg attack. Then finishes a leg attack on the edge to ice it.

Bo Bassett won the tourney at 133. Brayden Palmer (who beat Schriever a couple times in close matches) dropped to 125 this year and beat Blaze in the finals.

Ah yes, the transitive property of wrestling, when one doesn't care about the facts or context. Add in a few tablespoons of irrelevance and one gallon of complete ignorance about the sport, and you will almost come close to making a point.

Just to state the obvious, yea you have to go all in and throw everything you can at some of these kids. Hoping that "light weight U" helps to sway them in our favor. Drake having a big year could be a huge boost. If he can somehow win it or at least have say a top 4 finish. I would think the kids would have to take notice.
End of the day though, may come down to who can pony up the most dough?

I am with you, i would say Blaze is also. I will add, I am about as big a Spencer Lee fan/homer there is. Outside of maybe his mom( I didn't smash my glasses, don't wear glasses or maybe I would have?) I can not think of many who back him as much as I do.
That being said, could these kids be even better? I mean it almost does not make sense seeing what they are capable of! If you told me that any HS kid could best even a ranked D1 guy. I would have laughed at you. For a HS Soph to WIN a college open!??!!? I would have bet the farm on that one!!!
This is about as good of a lightweight group as I can remember. Blaze, Bassett, Forrest, Davino, DeLuca, Lilledahl, and Knox are all super impressive.
Lots of unbelievable lightweight talent right now. I agree, off the top of my head I cannot remember another group this deep. Going to make the light weights competitive for years to come when these guys all get filtered into 2 or 3 weight classes only.
