I don’t know, I’ll take the guy that beat the guy that stuck Spencer. Forrest is obviously a generational talent, but so is Blaze. Kid consistently figures out how to win and has no fear. That’s twice in recent memory that Jax had a lead a got “caught” late. He’ll figure it out I’m sure, but Blaze is more fundamentally sound at this point IMHO.
I'm not saying Blaze isn't a great wrestler, but if he was that level, he wouldn't have lost the final.
That won't be Ramo's last loss this year. He's a big-move guy and pretty inconsistent. Look at B1Gs last year. He got smoked by DeAugustino, who was a shell of himself at the end of the year. He and Spencer wrestle that match ten more times, under the same circumstances, and Spencer wins AT LEAST nine of them. That was a perfect storm for him. Blaze is just one of a great batch of lightweights coming up. I hope we get one or two of them, but I don't get my hopes too high these days.

Still going. Had a hard time mixing his punching and wrestling. Seemed like it was one or the other exclusively. Also has a bit of a glass jaw. But man does he have punching power. Heard a rumor one time that he knocked Metcalf out training at the OTC. Don't know how much truth there was to it.
After beating the high school and college #1, I can kind of see how he might have lost some focus for that final match.
Both are high school kids. It was a very close match which Forrest led for most of it.
