Clark and Gman both at 57kg for open?

I think Spooner is correct. Clark will probably be taking time off for surgery and to heal. Either way, those first two weight classes will be very deep with talent.

In addition to the new weights, I believe they are going to a two day tourney. Depending how they handle weight, it could cut down on some of the huge weight cutting.

Edit: Sounds like the initial proposal is for a 2 kg allowance on day 2. That's hefty, but on the flip side they know weigh in each morning rather than the day before. It will cut down on cutting I think.
