Clark should of stayed one more year

She made the right decision going pro.

And if she played one more year at Iowa, she'd have over 5,000 career points and if you think there was hate this past season, it would have been 10x worse. The haters would want an asterisk by that 5,000+ point number.

And second guessing a correct decision 2 games into her first professional season is just dumb.

Wow 2 games in. She will be fine, she has to learn to be in flow with a team and not the flow going entirely through her. Will be an adjustment.

She will also have to deal with more length and height as well as players that actually close out on her (take away her feet on shooting). She will be fine. Just don't expect Larry Bird, at least for a while. Pete M never one a championship (and neither has she). CC actually never one a HS championship I think.

To win the NCAA championship CC needed another all big ten 1st team and honorable mention NCAA All America to win. That wasn't going to happen likely next year, so staying she had not much to gain unless Lucy Olsen was coming if she stayed.

Lucy Olsen would not have come to Iowa if CC stayed. Only 1 ball on the court at a time. Only 1 alpha allowed.

Hate to overreact after 2 games, but this Fever team is a mess. Unfortunately, if she stayed at Iowa for another year, they'd probably still have the #1 pick next year. She just delayed the inevitable
Exactly. If you're a #1 pick in any sport you go to a shit team. No win. And the Fever looks like they're going to be bad for a long time.

She'll be fine. Current team is worse than expected. It also seems to be a totally different offense. So many people panicking after two games shows just how great her career was in college. She totally dominated it, nothing else to prove, expectations were through the roof because of it.

Using Boston some more would help. She's supposed to be a big-time talent and was rookie of the year. Use her, take some pressure off CC. I think that will be a good 1-2 punch at some point.

I haven't been especially impressed with Boston. Not overly quick, doesn't have much lift and not a great outside shot.

The alternative to staying for another year is most likely playing for an expansion team

She was really in a no win situation from the get go. All those that questioned her abilities to make the jump were going to dig in if the start of her career began the way it has. And if she was putting up decent numbers to begin with and the Fever were still getting beat it somehow would have been because she wasn’t making the right decisions getting others involved.

Give her some time. The microscope is on her 24/7 so any little mistake is magnified. And the Fever aren’t going to challenge for titles anytime soon from what saw.

You would think, BUT Boston seems to be getting shut down by defenders at this point, (against two really good teams) and she doesn't really run the floor like Cc is used to. These are all things that Sides needs to figure out. She'll earn her pay this season..

Surprised at the lack of production by Boston. She may be good later, but she doesn't bring much right now.

CC absolutely made the correct decision. She would have been roasted for "ducking" the W if she had stayed in college.

The Fever has played a couple of contenders so far. Let's see how they fare against the also rans.
