Idk if we’ve ever seen it, but Glory Schroder could be a good one. Schroder is capable of turning anyone not named Spencer Lee. Also I’m taking the 5 seed at heavy to win it all. Wrestlerneverdiesasacatsfan would be proud

About half their team isn't going. 1 positive COVID test apparently, but don't know if that's what is keeping them all out.

Thanks 🙏 for remembering me! LOL! Northwestern is pretty solid this year! Now, since my daughter just graduated from Indiana University and is dating a Michigan grad! Those two schools are my new favorites too! I enjoy Iowa wrestling! Not big on Ohio State football 🏈 but don’t mind their wrestling! Interested to see how Cornell and Michigan look! Michigan looks pretty salty these days! Parris and Brucki and 84 are three tough dudes! As is the Rutgers transfer! Micic is too small at 41! Tough time AAing at 41! imho!

I was curious also so I looked at CDC and this is what they’re saying as of 10-15-21:
“CDC recommends fully vaccinated people get tested 5-7 days after close contact with a person with suspected or confirmed COVID-19.”
So my guess is that Gable et al are within that 5-7 day window and can’t be cleared. Bad timing.

contact tracing i'd imagine, but i'm also pretty sure the plan was always for gable to mostly only wrestle home duals anyway (with exceptions like iowa). i don't think he has much interest in a 2 day tournament.
Gonna be difficult to win another NCAA championship without a 3-day tourney in his future
