Agree, he seems like a guy that his head on right and is a hell of a player, but has a douchebag for a coach and QB. I get that you just won the game on the final play but then to do the snap and punt a ball is completely classless. The one silver lining is once Barkley leaves for the NFL they will come back to earth.
Cant wait to draft Barkley in Fantasy Football next year.
They had to come back out for the snap. It's not like it was Franklin's call. And yeah I kinda agree about trace..he shouldn't have punted the ball...but it's not like he was high stepping or anything..

As were we tonight. He may have had 200 yards, but there is a reason he stopped doing the KOs in the game.
He had 38 carries prior to tonight (~13 per game)...28 tonight.
Wadley had 28 against ISU and 24 against Wyoming. Total of 69 for the season which is more than Barkley.

That's a good question. But Ferentz couldn't get out of that handshake quick enough. You never see Ferentz do this no matter what happens in the game.
OK, since you had to bring it up. How is your receiver on the last TD, hushing the crowd NOT an unsportsmanlike penalty, or for that matter punting the ball like that? We all know the answer don't we. It's OK to call that kind of shit on Iowa, but no ref is going to call that kind of WAY more agregious behavior on BIG favorites, like PSU or OSU.

After I saw this topic, I was going to rewind it and see what you guys are talking about, but the channel got changed and I couldn't. I wasn't really watching for the handshake, but IIRC, Franklin had a smirk on his face and was strutting toward Kirk as if he was gloating. Was this the case, or incorrect memory?

Because officiating is incredibly inconsistent these days. One of our RBs "shushed" the crowd a few years ago (Bill Belton) and got a 15 yarder, but I see it time and time again across the country without a call. You never know where the line will be drawn after a TD.
Got what we deserved...a 2 point loss to the "top" team in the BIG. AND, we don't have a dick of a coach and qb. You're right, pedo fan, we did get what we deserved.

Thats just it, because we know exactly where the line is. That line stops before it gets to the teams the league wants at the top. No ref would have had the balls to call that on a PSU player no matter what they did.
