Coach Lee Corso & Game Day

Having a family Navy history. My Dad, Brother, Sister, and myself, along with my Brother-in-law who we lost to cancer, who serverd 22 years retired Navy. I can only say, go Navy, beat Army! Great men on both sides of the ball!

That was an amazing segment. None of the other panelists could come up with any words. Great stuff.

Very cool. Not watching game day but did you see the Navy helmets for the game.
Each position group has a different ship painted on the helmet.

Defensive Back: Destroyer -- Known for significant fire power, speed, and anti-missile defense as are Navy's defensive backs.

Good stuff. I had the opportunity to go backstage in indy, meet the crew and these guys are the real deal. Pollack is an ass hat, the rest appeared to be very genuine.

To be fair, pollack is genuine too, but it's a genuine ass hat.

That was a pretty powerful segment and segments like that and the Greenwood story are the reason I still watch college gameday. That and it's 3 hours of college football talk. Say what you will about ESPN, SEC bias (which there is) but I don't think I'll quit watching gameday any time soon.

This is exactly what I would have guessed from on air persona (re: Pollack).

Hawgguy, thank you for sharing that. Very powerful.

SIDE NOTE:
While coaching at Maryland, Lee Corso was the first coach to integrate the ACC. He has truly walked the walk.
