Anyhow, part of the beef that a team might have may relate to fanbases. For better or worse, the Iowa fanbase is gaining some notoriety. I some cases, that notoriety is getting spun in a very negative light as it relates to ethnocentric biases. Much like I like I view Chris Doyle ... I don't think that most of y'all are racist ... however, I'm willing to wager that most of y'all are prone to saying stupid shit. Sometimes you put your collective feet in your mouths ... and definitely comes out sounding racist ... even if the intent may have been far from it. Yeah, interesting thought here on the “bitch” comment. My dad who has been dead eight years and I miss him dearly wasn’t a terrific role model when I was younger and often called my mom a bitch. It’s honestly not something I use in my lexicon, surely I’ve slipped up at some point in time in my life that I’m not remembering, but I think my wife would vouch for me that, that is something. Hey, she is 19 maybe 20 years old. The regular season and tournament are over. We will not see the Buckeyes ( which is my least favorite team in the conference) until 2026.
