Conservatives On Paris

Again, you equating me with a group you can't help but see red against. You're not even on my level of understanding, so I'll say this once, quit thinking out actually thinking the entire situation through. Who cares if it's a fair fight? That is not the point.
The point is to at least have a chance to fight back.
I guess I am missing what you're saying. Please explain to me how you think a few handguns will be able to match up with a flood of terrorists armed to the teeth? How would they even hold the line? If I'm a terrorist wearing full body armor with a rocket launcher and some idiot tries shooting at me with a handgun, I'm lighting him up. Boom! You're dead. The guy next to you is dead. And everyone in your area is dead. Why are you even pretending that the guy in a tee shirt will be able to take these guys out?

Again, I know you're too ignorant to get this, but not all citizens are non-trained citizens. I'm an ordinary citizen these days, and I'm a vet who had training.

Why are you arguing against the ability to defend yourself? You still keep dodging that question.
Because in this particular situation, you can't defend yourself. Handguns wielded by people in tee shirts and jeans cannot defend against terrorists in body armor and rocket launchers. It's like trying to claim that you can defend yourself against a bear attack with a paring knife. I don't give a shit how many apples you've sliced with that paring knife, it still won't do much against a hungry bear's teeth and claws.

That's never been the argument, and it only takes one bullet genius. The argument has been WHY ARE YOU arguing for people having the ability to fight back? What if there were 10 or so that had guns, against 3. You do realize, they could possibly take all three of them of them out?
Again, you're more concerned about someone having the ability to fight back, then you are about the ones who do it in the first place.
No one has once claimed, that they would WIN. The point is that it would be nice, if they had been allowed the right to fight back.

But there is no fighting back. Don't you see this? I understand that you want the freedom to carry guns anywhere you like, but using the Paris attack to try making this political point is ridiculous. Conceal carry would have never prevented this attack. And I doubt you could find any experts who would say that it would have.

If you want to keep arguing for the right to carry, have at it. But to use Paris as an example for that right simply won't work.

Dude, they're not in impenetratable armor. This isn't Halo Huey. Your analogy was completely stupid by the way. Even if there were less than a dozen with guns, they would have stood a good chance. It only take son

Again, you're lost in your thoughts. I never said it would have prevented the attack. The only thing that prevents that attacks is a time machine. I guarantee you that some 'experts' would agree with me. If concealed carry been allowed, there is a good chance, they could have fought back. Especially when you have more than one who is carrying. Do they win? Who knows? Do they at least allow for a fight? Absolutely. That has been my point all along.

Absolutely they could have tried fighting back. But would they have done any major damage? Probably not. Once again, you simply cannot pit armed and armored soldiers (with the element of surprise, I might add) up against a few people in North Face jackets, who thought they were just in for a night of good music, and expect good results.

Dude, we're not talking Rambo in a Halo suit here Huey.
