I like how he tries to make it sound like such an outlandish bet though.
On July 23 (exactly 3 weeks ago) it was reported that Cooper would start training camp on the NFI (non football injury) List and could be out up to 3 weeks due to a hamstring injury suffered while training prior to camp. At that time, before the injury, the thought was DeJean had a real chance to start Week 1 at nickel corner.

He's been tremendous, and has firmly placed himself right in the conversation for defensive rookie of the year. What a steal by the Eagles at the 40th overall pick!
Having Cooper practice offense (where he got injured) cost him big time.

My news feed is full of articles from Philly Eagle fan sites/analysis sites praising Cooper. He looks like a NFL star in the making. Campbell for Detroit is also a future star. We had some generational talent on the Iowa Defense in previous 2 years....too bad our offense sucked.
If you have any links to post that would be sweet. I google "dejean eagles" quite a bit these days to see what is being written but I'm sure there is other stuff out there I am not seeing...
