He is an outright Marxist. Who outside of Russia, China and North Korea would vote for him?
Care to site where he advocates for state control of resources and production?

Yes, he is a self described democratic socialist according to his website. The origins of this are the Democratic Socialist of America is a movement to eliminate capitalism by evolving a social order based on popular control of resources and production. He advocates this by the very party he belongs to.
That's what socialists do. Of course he's not going to say it because they're devious and lie to get control. Look what Obama has done. Why is Bernie any different?
What has Obama done to advance socialism?
Health care for one. It's designed to be turned into single payer. Student loans for another. Govt owns that business now.
What do temporary bailouts have to do with the perpetual need to fund education, roads, and getting big money out of politics? How many more TARPs and Bailouts does one administration want.
At some point you need to show some results before you ask for another blank check.

Each party has that 45% built in start. For the record, it would be very hard for him to winLet's just suppose for a moment that for whatever reason, Hillary doesn't emerge as the Dem. nominee. Let's also suppose it's Sanders. Could he win in a general election?
Some are saying no because he's too old, he's a socialist, he doesn't have enough of a base outside of wealthy white liberals, etc.
I tend to disagree with this and think he actually could win. At worse, he probably has a built in consituency in a general election against a Republican of at least 45% (maybe higher). I also don't think the word socialist scares people like it used to. Most people probably don't really even know what it means and if Sanders runs on an even more robust entitlement society, that will appeal to a lot of people.
Why? Let's assume that he can get past Hillary. That's a big if. But let's say he does it. How does the Republicans come up with enough votes? They're tanking with Hispanic, blacks, and women. Who's left? White males? You tell me. How does the GOP get enough votes? Where do they come from? Each party has that 45% built in start. For the record, it would be very hard for him to win
