Sure they could. If they play like 1/1, absolutely.

Could Iowa beat Clemson or Alabama? Sure they could. If they play like 1/1, heck no at all.

Shoot, Mississippi beat Alabama solidly, in Tuscaloosa. They weren't great shakes compared to any of these other teams.

If the Stanford that played in the Rose Bowl showed up, that team would beat anyone in the country. But if the Stanford that lost to NW or Oregon showed up, probably not.

Yes, and I still believe Iowa could. I also believe if we played Stanford again, the game would be very different. Would we win? I don't know, but we'd compete.
