The screen off to the side is the dumbest idea in the world. Looks cheap as hell too. Not surprising it came from Tesla.
Couldn't pay me to drive that fugly thing. I laugh whenever I see one drive by.
Tesla boycott is smart
The emails for the 1-dy thing were dumb - even saying "If you need anything, buy it the day before, or the day after!". So, it'll really have zero impact. Nobody is going to freak out because their sales on Saturday were way down, but sales on that Friday and Sunday were up.Tesla boycott is smart
The "one day" thing is dumb. If you want those other companies to feel the pain, you stop buying from them for a year. Not one day.
Drove by our local Tesla Dealership last week and the side lot was full of cybertrucks just gathering dust.
I’m genuinely baffled by how they’re doing this. The specs are crazy, so much so that it makes me wonder if the pricing is legit. The pre-order price was closer to $120k.![]()
Meet the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, the luxury Chinese EV everyone's talking about
Xiaomi’s first electric vehicle, the SU7, took the market by storm, securing nearly 250,000 orders in just nine months. Today,...electrek.co
Chinese cell phone company makes a car faster than any Tesla.
Turns out, you can make and sell things for a lot less money, when you can just steal & copy all the development work from other companies...I’m genuinely baffled by how they’re doing this. They clearly have the resources to build a lot of things in-house, but there are some things that go with a sub 2 second zero- 60 time that are just expensive to produce. Suspension components, tires, and brakes being the ones that jump out.
One day boycotts are the equivalent of putting a thoughts and prayers message on Facebook when something bad happens. It does nothing, it changes nothing, and anyone who you are trying to get the attention of doesn't give a shit. Even if every single person did not visit these businesses last Friday it won't even register as a blip on any report because I'm pretty sure that's not how those reports are generated. Especially since if people participated in it they did their shopping the day before or the day after so there will be no difference in the bottom line. If any message was sent it was, "Hey, we need to do more of this fascist stuff because nobody cares about it!"Tesla boycott is smart

I think it has more to do with safety standards and work conditions. Carbon fiber components cost a lot less to produce if you don’t care about worker safety.Turns out, you can make and sell things for a lot less money, when you can just steal & copy all the development work from other companies...

What’s the difference between what you’re proposing and vandalizing or destroying? It’s all wrong, IMO.Again: Vandalizing his stores and destroying things is not the answer here.
Line the f*** up for test drives, and walk away. Over and over again.
Waste the sales-people's time.
Make them recharge and reclean their cars over and over again - take your coffee or latte with you for the test drive, and "accidentally" spill it all over the car and seats.
Pull out a package of cheese crackers on your test drive and "Cookie Monster" the crumbs everywhere - they gotta clean all that out before they can show off the car again.
Get more creative than just breaking shit; it'll be much much more effective, and they cannot see it coming.
Get a valve stem remover and empty the tires.
What’s the difference between what you’re proposing and vandalizing or destroying?
Spilling a latte all over the interior of a car (possibly an all white interior) is the same as denting a side panel or tearing off a side mirror. All three are also a complete waste of time for the person committing these acts…and dumb. It's destroying nothing.
Wasting a salesperson's time is an extremely easy way to protest.
Accidents happen.
Purposely spilling food and drink inside the vehicle on a test ride? It's destroying nothing.

That’s classless.(and vandalism).
It's not an accident if you do it on purpose. This is the type of bullshit response that makes the rest of us opposed to Musk and Trump look bad. It's an accident. Accidents happen.
Tesla workers can clean it up; at least they still have jobs.
Clean up? Perforated seats, materials that stain, electronics that could get ruined, etc.No; it's not. It's a "cleanup".
And "accidents happen" all the time
