Cyclone women take a hit

Clown site indicated he's under contract to 2027.

Pollard got the $$$ to can him? That might be the only way BF survives this.
Of course he does, crybaby Pollard the AD of the year? I mean he now has 3 women’s soccer coaches that he hired that far shame isu players. No worries as clown fans stand by and cheer him on.

Just how that trashy fan base rolls.

The rumor has always been that Fennelly told recruits to come to Iowa State because we have "family values." An unspoken way of saying, don't go to Iowa/Drake as they have gay coaches.
1. I don't know about this one way or the other.
2. The ISU coaches in virtually every sport (don't know about wrestling) have sold the "family values" pitch, relative to the fans and the atmosphere and the community. Doesn't necessarily have anything to do with sexual preference.
3. There were rumors when Stacy Frese transferred that she was uncomfortable with the atmosphere in Iowa City under Angie. Personally, I think it probably had more to do with wanting to play for her sister, who was Bill's top assistant at the time.
4. Bluder has been the coach there for over two decades and she isn't gay.

Jan Jensen is gay and BF and company have used that against Iowa as it not being the “family values” they have in Ames. Glad isu is having a reckoning as a result.

Billy Jr. comes across as a real douche.

And part of the reason BF might not resign is Jr and his wife would probably have to leave the State for another gig.

Can't afford Frese, and if they hired Mulkey, fans would revolt.
I didn't post that very well. I meant that if Coach BF continued losing players, he should call Frese and Mulkey to see how they turned over their roster and continued to have success. Agree there's no way Frese would come and Mulkey would a be fate worse than death.

Final four and National Player of the Year is just devastating for the clown fan base.

isu=trash
When you look closely at the two programs, you see they're heading in opposite directions.

It's understandable that Clone fans are bitter. The coaching staff is on life support in Ames and they don't even have enough players to have a scrimmage, unless they recruit from the intramurals.
Meanwhile, the entire basketball world is mesmerized by Clark and her teammates.

I can’t wait to see where Iowa WBB is after CC. There has to be a ton of big time recruits who should, and will, give Iowa a good look.
Necessity number ONE: Sign Maddy Greenway!
Go Hawks!

wish I was in Dallas.

The prospect of a coming recruiting bonanza for Iowa WBB has arisen repeatedly in recent times, but it bears repeating that so far there has been little, if any, recruiting bump from the Caitlin Clark era. To begin with, Hannah Stuelke committed to Iowa before Clark did, so no impact there. The '23 class, after the Ava Jones' injury, is nothing to get excited about, with 1 non-top 100 recruit with a marginal offer list. Iowa struck out on its higher rated targets.

Two of the three commitments in the '24 class (Levin, Stremlow) are typical Bluder level recruits, with little interest from the better recruiting programs. The post commitment from Oregon, Ava Heiden, is a top 50 recruit, who perhaps was influenced by Clark, but seems more influenced by Gustafson/Czinano/Jan Jensen. She had interest from some higher level recruiting schools, and is a good get for Iowa. It may also have helped that she has family from Iowa (as did Addison O'Grady), but there are only so many of those players.

Finally, the best that Iowa could do in the portal last off-season was Molly Davis, who helps in limited minutes, but is hardly evidence of a positive Caitlin Clark recruiting effect.

And her superstardom and notoriety is just getting started. Iowa making a final 4 and CC winning POY are huge.

It's going to help Bluder recruit no doubt.

What a dumpster fire. No way their coach lasts past next year if he doesn't reload with high level portal transfers and put up a good record. Highly doubtful that happens, it seems.
I am doubtful they will fire him for a few transfers. He is generally well-liked by the powers that be and at least half the fans, and he has a good record. I think their team would need to totally collapse for 3+ years. He has put in the time and has been more of a winner than a loser.

There is no way in hell either Frese or Mulkey would ever even consider ISU, but a couple people on their message boards think it's a possibility.

Raina Harmon is also a lesbian. So are Monika Czinano and Ava Jones :)

We may have to wait a bit to see how it pans out, since we're booked up for '23 and '24. It'll be interesting to see if it does. Bluder has expended significant capital trying to land some elite recruits -- much more than ever so before, I'd say (save for Clark) -- in class of '25 and beyond. Offers to multiple Top 5 players those classes.

and so what? It is BF and his staff that find that outside of what they consider “family values”. So I hope BF and isu gets embarrassed in each and every game for the rest of eternity. It fits how trashy they are.

Perhaps you're right. It's a bad look when that caliber of players decide to hit the road in such quick succession, though.

All that matters is the record in the end. If he can find a way to not have too down of a year next year and reload with talent all will be forgiven. If, however, he doesn't replace with close to equal talent and next year's record is bad, I could see the seat getting pretty hot.

Ahhhhh. I get it and agree.

Every woman at ISU is over 200 lbs? Bill Fennelly is a drunk? ISU is a community college? Need I keep going?

Take the chew out of your mouth and change your 1980 Hayden Fry shirt. Definition of TaVern Hawk.

Hypocrite is wearing an ANF sticker when your school has zero to do with Ag or farming.
I went to Iowa and learned about socialism. Directly related to farming.

None, other then she was at Baylor in the Big12.

As obnoxious and annoying as she seems to be...she's primed to take LSU to the top...soon.
yep and another reason only reason she left Baylor and all success she had there for LSU is she is a Louisiana native. Played and use to coach at La Tech. She isn't going anywhere. Especially not to Lames.

Hope that's not true but if it is, he gone.
He already survived some pretty bad racism allegations a while back at ISU. That was prior to the woke era though, so if he abused players(physical or mental)......it's way more likely now that players(even former ones) will speak up about their issues with him.

Hope that's not true but if it is, he gone.
The issue is some of these kids need the schollies and sometimes have to put up with more than they should have to. So they don't speak publicly about stuff.

BF has been there nearly 25 years, just guessing, so he's built up a lot of good will and credibility.
But it's becoming clear there are problems surfacing.

That's true - look at how long Marlene Stollings got away with her treatment of players.

“The Iowa State Way”
Speaking of the ISU Way.....there's an article in today's DM Register that the former ISU fball player who sucker punched JBo plead guilty to assault. Glad that little b&tch didn't get away with it.

Too bad Polturd never did anything about our band getting assaulted......except blame them for going out the wrong exit (after being screamed off the field by their looney groundskeeper).

Clowns gonna clown! 🤡

Really? Because Iowa fans support farmers, many ARE farmers, many other work in fields dependent on farming, etc we should support and promote ANF?

But, but, but, we're not an Ag college...or a school that graduates train engineers or those people that hold the stop/go signs in construction zones.
