Dakich done on ESPN?

I watch ESPN constantly. I'd love to know these political agendas they are forcing upon myself and others.

What, specifically, are the political agendas they're advancing?
Again, since reading comprehension is not your strength, I will type it again.

You obviously are an ignorant fool when it comes to the programming ESPN once had and have since gotten rid of.

If it's so obvious, provide some examples. This shouldn't be that hard since you post 800 times a day.

LIke him or nor, BERMAN made ESPN what iot was through its early formative days. The guy would telecast a tiddly-winks tournament live at 2AM if it meant ESPN was delivering 24/7 "live" sports....and he'd do it 3 or 4 nights a week......His MLB Highlights show was the first of its kind offered oj a daily basis.....his nicknames became legendary (my fav was Joaquin "too the dugout early" Andujar, after Joaquin got knocked out in the 1st inning of a play-off game ) and the program quality was never seen before....and Vitale...ESPN owes Chris Berman, big time.....just as college basketball owes folks like Vitale, McGuire, Packer, and Dick Enberg. When these gius are in town everyone understands one thing.....it's a big deal!
It’s kind of a rare thing that happens here, but you actually changed my mind. I was complaining about Dickie V doing the MSU game last week. I mean, he has lost his fastball for sure, but he gave me a lot of joy growing up, and he changed the game as far as announcing goes. The younger generation isn’t going to appreciate him as much, which would make me a total dick if I turned on him now.

again, dummy, i provided a link to 100's of articles for you to read.

but then again, reading comprehension is obviously not your strength

You googled "ESPN politics." That's like anti-vaxxers conducting their online research.

Provide some examples of them pushing a far left political agenda, please. This shouldn't be that hard.

Are you guys really debating ESPN politics? ESPNs politics begin and end with $$$, and they will act accordingly.

some day you'll make someone a great parent....a mobil mind is not a sign of weakness.....

So dumb. I love how all the people on Facebook who constantly post shitty political memes and bitch about politics are the same people who who want athletes to stay out of politics.

If you think ESPN is pushing an agenda of any kind, you are a strange, strange person.
What? LOL!

Denial ain't just a river in Egypt obviously. Wow.

he also seems to have learned his social manners from Knight. The guy is a rude, arrogant prick and bully and makes inflammatory accusations and comments that really have no business in a sports broadcast. I really don't care of he retains his job or not, but if you take his entire body of work, its surprising he has kept his gig for this long.
When you are the best it matters less. What kind of makes me laugh is that this is like My 3 Sons Robbie Douglass saying 'why heck' in 1962 compared to Knight. Could RMK even keep a job 5 minutes in today's landscape?

ESPN is a cess pool. I never watch them unless its a game. I havent watched sports center in 10 years
Testify. Same with me.

For all the sports filler shows I watch Fox when I'm in the mood for them. And usually it's just to watch Rachel Bonetta.

Anyone else seeing the irony of complaining about ESPN needing to stick to sports and then defending Dakich when he is being investigated for not sticking to sports and being a buffoon?

Ummm.....I guess you can put me in the "strange, strange" category. In fact, put me down for a couple more "strange" marks because they are absolutely political now.
I wouldn't call it "far, far left", but it is without question nowhere near "center". Hey, it's their business and they're obviously free to operate it, hire, and fire who they want in accordance with their business plan. Just don't be shocked when those of us who don't want to hear it when we tune in for a game or highlights or whatever, stop tuning in.

Dakich was simply defending his stance regarding Duke. For ESPN to elevate what he said to jeopardize his career is insane. He is being railroaded b/c some liberal female professer accused him of verbal rape when he commented she needed to stop bitching.

Dackich is far from the best but that really isn’t the point. As far as RMK keeping a job for 5 minutes in the modern world, the answer is absolutely not and that’s a good thing. Thankfully societal norms changed over the years to the point that misogyny, intimidation, physical and psychological abuse are not tolerated in athletics at any level. RMK may have been a hall of fame coach but he was also a hall of fame asshole, bully and abuser that likely harmed as many players as he helped.

I don't much care for the guy as a color guy, but losing your job over this crap is insane. And, since it's ESPN and today's BS SJW climate, he probably will.
This country is Thelma-&-Louiseing itself at an alarming rate.
I think it was a culmination of all the things said over the years and this may have been the final straw. I hate the political leaning ways of ESPN (not for their agenda, just for pushing politics and sports), but a company needs to be careful who represents them.

Then draw me a picture. I would love to hear this. Come on, provide examples.

Bob Iger thought so

I thought ESPN finally had grasped as much when Iger hired Pitaro to replace John Skipper, who’d become more a ‘60s hippie than a sports network president. Not long ago, in the fall of 2018, Iger communicated a sea change from his perch as Disney chief executive when he told the Hollywood Reporter: “There’s been a big debate about whether ESPN should be focused more on what happens on the field of sport than what happens in terms of where sports is societally or politically. And Jimmy felt that the pendulum may have swung a little bit too far away from the field. And I happen to believe he was right.”

Convenient you are omitting some of Dakich's comments. He said more than she needed to stop bitching.

"The 58-year-old Dakich on his WFNI The Fan radio show said, “I just said bitching because it’s what people do. It’s what everybody does, everybody just bitches. But that’s sexist apparently because I said bitching and a lady was in the conversation.

"And then she wanted to, quote, go at in the pool. Well, if you go at it in a pool, that’s a public place and then I’m gonna have to get divorced, and then it’s just gonna be a problem.”

That is a classic left argument. You minimize by impugning someone who you disagree with by calling that person a name(strange).🧐 So the people who agree with the post are also strange. 😞open your closed eyes and pay attention and you might learn something from Fran!

In an everyday conversation that seems like a comment that gets no attention. When you have a huge company attached to your success and name..... that is when social media becomes an issue. It is not about you is a good phrase for a lot of people to remember.

Most everyday conversations aren't carried out on a sports radio talk show in decent sized media market.

Dakich most likely didn't know she was a swimmer and that she wanted a race. Clearly his response is out of context with her inferred/Implied meaning but to slant his response as verbal rape is a stretch. Go at it can be a lot of things. She should have been more clear. This an issue of a conversation lost in translation and hardly was taken to the level of sexual harrasment. Dakich could just as easily make the case she sexual harrassed him. It should not be a career ending issue at all.

It all started with me watching PTI. All of a sudden they got political then attacked Woodbury unfairly and promoted harm on him. Then of course racism was seen in places where IMO were fabricated. Now you have BLM support which is a communist organization. I’ve been done watching them for some time.

He is the one that made it sexual in nature though.......

He responded to what he believed to be sexual innuendo. He didn't make it sexual because he already felt harrassed by his response. She should have been clear in her inferrence. Sexual harrasment includes inferred and implied meaning
